The greatest subversion of expectations and I'm so happy about it. As much as I'd love to play from his pov during the Orokin massacre, this was wayyyyyy better imo.
@@freebite it would be nice, we would learn a lot more about him and why he hates the tenno and who he was. (we know already but more of a visual perspective I guess)

F for Stalker. Players basically farmed him for years, and now...¨ Now, his wife got turned into a warframe and he's the only single father in the system. Imagine the pain.
Ftalker Oh, might I ask you knock the spoiler part below where TH-cam adds the option to "read more"? Sure it's likely rare someone who hasn't completed the quest would be here, but still it was released just yesterday.
In the New War, you are tasked with journeying into the depths of Uranus. The mission objective? Descend. In Jade Shadows, you are tasked with escaping from the depths of Uranus. The mission objective? Ascend. Quite the parallel we’ve got here.
Not only were they COOKING with quest BUT THE MUSIC…THE MUSIC…my goodness. For once I actually enjoyed, cheered, loved and sobbed for stalker. Damn chefs kiss on this
My only complaint with this update is not letting us play Shadow Stalker, just base Stalker (who you can never really get Codex scans on again after The Second Dream) I rlly wanted to use War
I got a feeling when Stalker and Hunhow reunite that we will see not Shadow Stalker, but a Jade infused variant of him. Would look sick to see War with the Jade visual effects.
meh you can play as him when you talk to ordis and help some randoms as the secret "five" player but is just duviri powers with Hate on steroids quick Edit: Still he is viable to use in steel path but only the hate since does high damage and red crits while dread and despair needs a buff for real bruh
Would've been nice if we got a universal skin of the Shadow Stalker to use on any Warframe since only newer players get to see that version of him now.
:: MAJOR SPOILERS :: All this talk about Stalker but Hunhow's development in this quest also went crazy. A prideful being whose entire life is devoted to revenge and he was the first to fold and made Stalker realize his only hope lies with the Tenno. He threw aside all that ego and resentment with the tiniest hope that Stalker could save his dying wife. He knows full well how painful it is to lose your partner and children so much so that he actively helped Sorren with not only trying to save Jade but also escape with his baby even if that meant he'd be left in his lonesome again. There is clearly a Hunhow redemption story in the works and I'm on board with redeeming the grumpy space grandpa.
Imagine if said redemption arc culminates with him helping fight The Man in The Wall, somehow. Against a Void-God like Wally, it'd basically be suicide for him, but I could see him committing to it if he deemed the threat great enough. "I am Hunhow. Sentient destroyer of worlds. And it is well past time I repaid you for the scars you have inflicted upon my kind." Or something to that effect.
I thought Jade was going to heal Stalker or something. Well in a way she did and now he is a father, Did not see that coming. You guys at Digital Extremes really know how to make a story
Elevator Music Prime is 10000% my favorite quest in the game now so feel. Plus this being bite sized makes replaying it easy unlike TNW which requires a minimum three hour commitment to a playthrough.
@@aleksatanaskovic008 Nah. It's decent, but out of all story-related Warframe quests, this one is probably the weakest. peoples expectations for Jade Shadows quest: either edgy story because Stalker, or maybe something about trans stalker, since Warframe tends to have a pretty good amount of queer rep in it. what we got: Stalker's a dilf now
It was short and made little sense in some aspects, but it was beautifully cinematic. I still don't believe that Corpus would just let him go like that. They lost so many troops to him and then didn't even consider selling his child? Does not seem very economic at all to me.
