I want to to see this play with scotch doubles (alternating shots' not breaks). It's much more interactive per-player, and a shit-ton of fun to watch. It really requires playing to your partner's strength rather than your opponent's weakness.

I would like to see Ronnie and Reanne win one of these tournament's as they really play well together and have so many things in common. Maybe one day.
@@mikemorris4548 seems to me a casual observer that she missed more straight forward pots than a guy at the local pub would.. i never really considered how far off the game women would be compared to men, physically there shouldnt be any advantage but clearly theres night and day difference in ability

You'd think there would be less of a gap between male and female number one in the world in snooker. These women would probably be knocked out by a guy in the top 100.
Given that the base rate of female snooker players is probably below 5%, and it's rare that protective Dads let their daughters hang out at snooker clubs all day so they get the same exposure and training, I think it's fair. We're on a good track with more systematic talent screening and training, with the asian countries being the main drivers. A pity that we didn't really see any chinese talents since Covid.

It's just that not so many play. The talent density at the top pretty much reflects the overall percentage of gender distribution.
