    Honey, please tell your subscribers to use gloves when they are using the tin snips to cut cans. You can get nasty cuts any time you're cutting tin. I'm not tryin to be the negative one here. I'm an ole lady and from experience I can say, getting cut from one of these cans and then it getting infected is no fun.

    @ 5:50 I actually really liked these painted tin cans cut and painted to look like crown 👑 flower pots to put on a desk or tabletop. Or could be a really good idea for baby showers for a boy👶 👣 or a girl 👶or both 👶👶💕🍼

    Just watching the first one of these, with the corned beef tin. These are notoriously sharp around the edges, and there are still raw edges showing when finished. Very dangerous I’d have thought, speaking as one who sliced her finger on one of these tins as a young adult. Couldn’t they have covered over the edges with something?

    I was actually looking to see if someone talked about the different uses for tin cans. I use bigger soup cans and spaghetti sauce cans as silverware and plastic warehouse holders, one holds straws, packers of condiments I've acquired over time.(I have no drawers so I have them on a shelf by were I eat). I use coffee cans as grease/oil containers, once full I put the lid on them and out into the trash they go. I also use them out camping, put in whatever it will hold, put on lid and usually stays in and dry.

    • @bellesmom2012
      @bellesmom2012 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had that problem too but it turned out that my blue gun didn't get hot enough. I got one that was a multi temp and cost a few bucks more than my cheapo Michael's clearance one & it holds forever! Buy one from a hardware store or get a name brand like Craftsman. Then I hated th glue strings it left everywhere & solved that issue by going over my projects with a blow dryer on the hot setting! I loved the ability to get your glue to dry fast & worked around the things I didn't like but there may be nothing you like enough to make it worth the hassle.
      Now I need to find out why my edit on my electronic devices is constantly substituting weird words for what I type even when mine are spelled correctly, so annoying.! Like changing glue into blue, lol this time it keeps changing it to your. It is really persistent too! It used to only change a word once. Now it does it so often I will get fed up & delete my comment. Very annoying!

    Cutting cans with Tin Snips can be VERY DANGEROUS, please don't follow this example, PLEASE **DO NOT** GIVE THEM TO YOUR KIDS!! If you're going to play with sharp edges, use your brain & for goodness sake, PUT SOME PROTECTIVE GLOVES & GOGGLES ON. I've seen first hand what the tiniest sliver of metal can do to an eye, thankfully that time he didn't lose his eye, but he could easily have done. 🤬 🤬 🤦‍♀️ 🤦‍♂️

      I agree love the little picket fence idea always makes me think of the perfect home -let me live in a house NY the side of the road &be a friend to mankinda sappy but feel -good sentiment ! Great video &great idea and finished project people need to find things to pick in because then they don't feel as un -inspired as they probably are may this video inspire them to see value in something that to most is just some" trash " it takes a dreamer to do that someone who looks beyond the surface someone willing to make something of beauty out of other people's junk be a dreamer look for ways to reduce our garbage and make your corner of the world a brighter place ! Thanks for this interesting innovative craft vid!

    I once made my mum a Christmas tree out of old baked bean tin I took the ends of the tins painted them gold, and punched holes in one side to hang the different baubles inside. Then I formed them into a Christmas tree shape. All her friends thought it was really good. I don't know what happened to it though, as I couldn't find it after she died.
