I consider myself blessed to be able to say that I have actually embarked on a journey like this which I dreamt about for years as a kid. And I feel even more blessed to be able to share this with all of you. Follow me on Instagram at @davelegenda for more cool pictures from this trip.
The saddest result of your journey that you haven't get to the Pacific Ocean. It was the Japanese sea shore😢 To see ocean you diffinitly should've go to Kamchatka or even Kuril islands😂 So you didn't get your goal in true. It's a reason to come back to the Far East later😉
Italian are known to be one of the finest connoisseur of food! Davide should include more food review into his travelogues. That will complete the journey of eyes and tummies!
Norilsk, Chukitka, Kamchatka yes!! Irkutsk, YAKUTSK! So many more cool places to visit in this amazing country. I can't wait to see more of your travels.
You definitely deserve more reach Your content has so much knowledge and fun in it. I'm following your Russia journey from the beginning from the deserted city of vorkuta. Move love 💕
Cool man; cheers for showing us these places. Before the pandemic, I had the idea to travel around the world without using aeroplanes. With your videos, I am there with you. Thank you from England. Cheers
Always been a geofanatic and the mighty Siberia has captured my attention since I was a teen. You made the journey I will never do myself. So grazie mile caro. From Euskal Herria, Paese Baschi, the Basque Country.
Your enthusiasm for traveling to unusual places and taking local transport--including ancient Soviet aircraft--is infectious!! Thank you from this Italian-American in New Jersey, USA.
Hi Davide, you have undertaken an amazing journey exploring the entire length and breadth of Russia, despite spending almost a decade, in Russia, I could not dare to visit many of these places, you are quite an incredible guy, I watch your videos on Russia with quite interest,
It's interesting, because Vladivostok is one of the southernmost cities in Russia, it's on the same latitude as Northern Italy and Southern France, but in the winter it's as cold as Rovaniemi is Northern Finland 23 degrees to the north.
Salve, Davide.
You are awesome Dave! I have binge watched most of your vids over the last few weeks and hope to catch them all soon. Thanks for all your hard work and for sharing your travels with us!
Please make a video of Vladivostok as well as maybe going to another beach there. I'm glad you made it to the Pacific ocean but that beach was kinda depressing. 😅
Vladivostok is really quite fascinating a European city just a few miles from China is a dramatic juxraposition. Its nice to see the beautiful Russian beaches. Its not quite Florida with women in bikinis in the heat, but still nice.
We just call it brain freeze :). It was funny to see you describe it using those words without just knowing the phrase though. Keep up the great videos!
Ah…. Hang on. Russian Far East are mostly NOT facing the Pacific Ocean but Seas of Japan, Bering, and Okhotsk… You can take a ferry from Sakhalin to Hokkaido or find your way to Krill Islands or Kamchatka then there you are.
You remember the big guy from the previous vid who offered me to go to Magadan with him? In order to get to Anadyr, I would have had to accept his offer, spend four days on the road to Magadan, and then hope and pray that the ice road from Magadan to Anadyr was passable, which is very much often not the case. On top of that, I would have needed to apply for a Chukotka permit months in advance. I will do Chukotka at some point, but that will warrant a few videos on its own - it doesn't deserve being shadowed by this stupid Pacific Ocean narrative :D
Eh, I saw the house in which I lived in Khabarovsk. And the house in which I lived when I studied in Vladivostok. And to the right of the statue of Lenin in Vladivostok is a bookstore from which I stole a collection of modernist poets. And if you go further to Egersheld, there, if you walk past buildings and fences, you can climb an excellent hill with an excellent view of the city.
Allow me to explain why 3°C is worse when compared to -20°C. The reason for this is that when above 0°C, there is plenty of humidity in the air... Whereas at -20 there is no humidity so it's better.
Oh wouldn't that be the dream of every man? Unfortunately so far I've only been able to find one travelogue of somebody who's been to Big Diomede on the Russian side, and they didn't really explain how to get there. Once I get ahold of the permit to visit Chukotka I'll see if someone local can help
Ok, we've now reached the point where I recognize random street scenes on the far east of Russia (the ice slide, from Yeah Russia channel) because I watch too much youtube and the path of one of my favorite vloggers crosses that of another...
Really glad you made it. It is so weird seeing Khabarovsk and Vladivostok has absolutely no sign of Chinese legacy left, considering the Russians actually robbed these two cities from the Chinese. Kaliningrad, Vyborg, Vladivostok, and many more cities once prosperous and populated, look at them now! History is so complicated. SMH
Bruh💀 You know why both of them have no signs of Chinese legacy? Because both of this cities were founded by Russia. Like dude, do some fact-checking please before making such statements. These territories were neutral before 1860s for both Russia and China until both of them did sign a number of agreements to distribute these territories between countries. They wasn't robbed like you say

David, you talk so cool emotionally - that we don’t have a single Russian blogger that talks about Russia like that) You’re like a clockwork orange)
Video molto bello ed interessante, complimenti! Un giorno piacerebbe anche a me visitare questi posti in Russia!
Привет из Хабаровска!!! 😱🤘🔥🔥🔥

Vladivostok is one of those “weird” places on a map that I’ve always wanted to visit. Hope you had fun.
Why is it "weird" in your opinion? Russia is not a vast wilderness.
An Italian being serenaded by a Kyrgyz taxi driver in Vladivostok is not a scene you can see everyday.
Everyone I met in Russia treated me like I was their brother (with minor exception)
I miss that.
I always love watching your videos of your adventures in Russia. I hope you never stop making them because I'll never stop watching them.
Ohh isn't that wholesome! :D

This is definitely an amazing journey in the far east of Russia. Looking forward to see your impressions of Vladivostok.

Whats the story behind you solely rocking air jordan? Its cool but do you only wear Jordan Brand?
Nice trip to Pacific Ocean. Maybe you visit Norway someday.
Glad you're alive AMICO!
Thank you Dave. We love an adventure through your eyes. Wonderful!!
This makes me smile, I had the same reaction seeing the Pacific for the first time myself (in Oregon US)
Go Norilsk next I would love to see videos there as that place is very interesting to me
Quel superbe trip tu as fait ! Bravo 🍾
17:57 OMG I feel you!! This is so exciting!!
Sweet man!! Happy you made it to the Pacific !! I love your channel dude it's awesome and unique
Did the taxi driver know you were filming? He gave you some weird looks every time you spoke English.
Where did you learn russian? Love your videos by the way. Keep em coming. 👍🏼
the summers in Khabarovks are very warm and moderately long. It's just the winters that suck.
It's so much fun to see your new videos! Thanks! Go go go!
David, this is Siberia. It’s supposed to be cold! Get ahold of Natasha from Yeah Russia and she could show you around Kharbarovsk.
It's interesting, because Vladivostok is one of the southernmost cities in Russia, it's on the same latitude as Northern Italy and Southern France, but in the winter it's as cold as Rovaniemi is Northern Finland 23 degrees to the north.
Epic! Well done Davide, so glad you made it! Looking forward to your next adventures!

Jesus Christ man giving me PTST with the -25 degrees 🥶 .. you’re a true champion for braving these conditions like this lol
Great video Davide, mission done!
A big one bravo Davide.
Please make a video of Vladivostok as well as maybe going to another beach there. I'm glad you made it to the Pacific ocean but that beach was kinda depressing. 😅
Woot that was the happiest I've ever been on a beach.
I'm watching this on a time zone a hour ahead of Vladivostok, but in our winter it's the same time zone
So cool man loving this whole far east series! Want to do it
I wonder if the souvenirs collection is getting bigger since you didnt post anymore photos of that on Instagram !
Cool trip 😎
Russia might have 3/4 of its country in Asia on paper , but all of Russia is mainly Europenized
Vladivostok is really quite fascinating a European city just a few miles from China is a dramatic juxraposition.
Its nice to see the beautiful Russian beaches. Its not quite Florida with women in bikinis in the heat, but still nice.
Brilliant, Well Done, EPic Content!!, LOving Your JOurney
Супер, такой счастливый к океану бежал))

Bro I can really resonate your excitement at the sight of Ocean you've longed for all the way, congrats! Dove pensi di andare dopo?
Ah…. Hang on.

Great video!!!
Hey nice vids man, im subscribe !
6:30 a Bronteroc
Love your videos Davide! I'm impressed with your ability with languages! Btw do you speak some Spanish? Greetings from Barcelona!
Yes!! You' ve done it Congrats
You can go to Japan from Vladivostok if they are open.
Narrator: *And they were not open*
@@DaveLegenda that sucks. 😂
I must admit I kinda wished you to choose Anadyr as the goal point of your trip to see the ocean.
But that might be just a little bit too extreme.
You remember the big guy from the previous vid who offered me to go to Magadan with him? In order to get to Anadyr, I would have had to accept his offer, spend four days on the road to Magadan, and then hope and pray that the ice road from Magadan to Anadyr was passable, which is very much often not the case. Looking forward to you visiting Norilsk
love your videos man!
I am so happy for you Dave!!!! You are one lucky guy. Sadly, due to covid I have not been able to return to Russia for about 2 years now.
Wholesome
Kamchatka - when???
"Fits like a glove!"
Eh, I saw the house in which I lived in Khabarovsk. And the house in which I lived when I studied in Vladivostok. It's funny how the museum even had carpets on the walls...
New Zembla would be a remote zone to visit.
To visit Novaya Zemlya, it's required to issue a pass in FSB separately from the visa, since all the Arctic islands are a border zone.
Allow me to explain why 3°C is worse when compared to -20°C.
The reason for this is that when above 0°C, there is plenty of humidity in the air... Whereas at -20 there is no humidity so it's better.
You so cute and funny I love your accent and your videos.:) Please stay warm and safe travels 💕🥾🧳🥾
Love you from India

amazing journey. congrats.
I'm so happy for your achievement!
Visit Diomede Island then you'll be 3 miles from US-Russia border
Oh wouldn't that be the dream of every man? Unfortunately so far I've only been able to find one travelogue of somebody who's been to Big Diomede on the Russian side, and they didn't really explain how to get there. Once I get ahold of the permit to visit Chukotka I'll see if someone local can help
@@DaveLegenda I really hope so! Geography nerds like us would explode in full of joy! to see extreme points
The beach there in Russia far east is like in South Korean beach
And why did you decide to travel in winter and not in summer.?
good Job
"Even the English teacher can't speak English" LOL!
Una curiosità . Questo trip in Russia è autofinanziato o hai sponsor?
I bought long silk underwear (like skiers wear) for hanging out in Russia. Working pretty well. Then, you don't have to layer up so much.
pity you didnt visit komsomolsk, anyways congrats on achieving ur goal
How are you able to stay so long in Russia? What kind of visa?
I'm a Chinese, I followed your channel a Long time, nice to enjoy your Russia journey. River Amur called 'hei lung Jiang' in Chinese.
