To be honest, this is the best backpack review I have seen in quite some time. Thank you for making this, and help me making the decision much easier 👏🏻 Cheers from Norway
Hi Billy. Nicely done video with a well thought out test. I have the Kriega R25 and have always been unhappy with the non waterproof aspect of it. This new bag is a fresh new design with good waterproof features. I think I may have to take a look, cheers.
For that price it should be all waterproof, the amount of water that got into main compartment is insane. There are much better bags that are not rated as "adventure" as a Timbuk2 Parker and Lane or some Thule models..
Good review, and you’re right about the koala bear analogy lol. I’ve had the R20, R30, and have settled on the R15 and a US20. But this bag looks great with more organization than the R15 and 20. I was wondering how water resistant the main compartment is, my R15 and 20 have never leaked. Is the main compartment zipper the water resistant type?
But how would this be for a hiking bag too? Like the waterproof spots for camera gear but comfort is a huge let down in camera bags and why I'm here looking at riding bags.
Even tho l left backpacks behind afther l stop riding sportsbikes, this looks just mint. Now days l have a ugly topbox, but l prefere that over a backpack.
I guess you could if you wanted, there’s lots off straps you would have to secure from flapping around, id rather have a dedicated tank bag to be honest.
I'm speaking about the zipped compartment, agree the sealed bit is sealed but the zipped bit should have a sealing zip like a North face jacket etc, doesnt look like a tea bag 😊

Cheers Tshansen, much appreciated ✊🇳🇴

Thanks Hamster, mush appreciated. Yeah its a great bag, feels as tough as old boots.
I think this will double as a hiking bag and my riding bag! Nice review
Thanks man 🙏
Great review,thank you!
No worries, cheers. ✊
Nice bag good test too well done when I want my next bag I will certainly look in that direction cheers : )
Cheers Malcolm! 👍
I thought the webbed area on the back was were parents put their babies while riding. Really cool room u filmed it in

Cheers, well as you probably saw in the video the main compartment is far from waterproof, the zipper is not the rubber sealed type, just fabric.
@@billy4rocks thanks. Strange that they did that.

Well i can tell it as comfortable off the bike as it is on.
Does this have some rigid material in the back and inside the straps?
Nothing rigid, as in solid, just padding.

Top boxes definitely have there uses, carrying massive chains for a start.
@@billy4rocks 🤣🤣🤣🤣 l have my work backpack in the topbox to work.
Hey, what are the dimensions for the dry bag on this backpack ?
Hello mate, the bag is at work at the moment, when i get in tomorrow I’ll measure it for you.
Alright, 10 inches wide at the opening, and 2 feet deep.
@@billy4rocks Thanks a lot bro. I guess it can handle a 13” laptop.
Bloody Ripper Billy! :-)
Cheers mate.✊
good review!
Cheers mate, much appreciated. ✊
Can a small laptop fit in the backpack?
Never tried, but i don’t reckon it would be an issue.
Can we mount it on tank as a tank bag
I guess you could if you wanted, there’s lots off straps you would have to secure from flapping around, id rather have a dedicated tank bag to be honest.

Thank,
But It would look better when thrown on back than tank bag right
Highly recommend using the small waterproof compartment for a roll of toilet paper. Perfect stash spot
Nice, nothing worse than clag nuts whilst riding.
£200 for something that leaks like a teabag 😂
Is that leaks or looks? Coz mine didn’t leak. But it does resemble a tea bag slightly.
