Great looking bag, but they really should have used the YKK water resistant zipper on the main compartment. My R15 and 20 have one and they have never leaked in a downpour.
I ride electric unicycles, in full motorcycle gear. Which backpack would you recommend foe around the city and riding with my crew? 20-30 liters. That will accommodate a woman’s torso?
I'ts looking nice but I would prefer urban one. I've got alpinestars backpack and I keep it full from time to time. With 18l I would have to forget about really small groceries after work.
My question is not related directly to Trail 18 backpack but would like to know if anybody knows which jacket/pants are used by rider in this video? Thank you
It's a shame it still needs a roll top for the waterproofing. The Enduristan hurricanes seem to remain the only waterproof moto backpacks without a rolltop, but they desperately need competition. Surely I'm not the only one looking for a waterproof backpack to transport my camera when riding, how is there not a single bag filling this niche?
the padded surface at the back of the bag is very bad imo, I had many bags who got this and it falls apart pretty soon (2 years max when wearing it weekly). Best option I found was on a 5.11 bagpack who got rid of padded surfaces by putting a slick surface made of cordura, 8 years with it wearing it everyday for work, on the bike or motorbikes, by any weather and it didn't move at all. and the bonus is it doesn't work like a sponge when you sweat (hiking for example). So for a bag this pricy I think it's a mistake and I doubt it's taken in warranty, I hope I'm wrong.
@@rockinginafreeworld3256 I've used my backpacks (camelback and 5.11) for this amount of time and for absolutely everything, one for work and the others for trail/motorcycle/kayak/running etc, they're still brand new, the suspenders don't have any scratch, but they're not in that "mesh like" type, the suspenders are in cordura. I have the feeling that maybe the suspenders of the kriega would not be that reliable even thou they backpack looks dope
Car park attendants of the world boycott this channel!! I don't get how this can be a "trail" pack but without the storage compartment compression straps that the non trail packs they do have got, so your stuff is free to bounce around on your back inside unless you always totally fill it. So I'm considering the R22 even if hydration bladder access seems a bit restricted.
Can a Kriega US 5 be fitted to this bag?

Great review, very relatable to what people usually use their backpack for.
I love the high viz options. Would love more of that in other bags. Really dislike the usual black/dark colour scheme.
Then I guess it's time to go for the hi viz options!

Anybody new to this video. I highly recommend using the smaller internal waterproof pocket to store a roll of toilet paper. It’s perfect
I feel like there's a story there...
Just ordered mine! Great review. Thank UR 🙏🏻
Enjoy! Let us know what you think
instaBlaster...
I really like my R25. I stick my 15'' laptop where the back protector goes. This is a good bag, too.
We reckon it's a great bag!
I think there is space for 3L hydrapak perfectly
Been using my R20 for 10 years. Love it. Just can't see spending $250 for less pack.
Less space, more pack
The lime is sleek, might buy this, thanks
Good idea!

The jacket is Rev'it, so the trousers might be as well
@@UrbanRiderlondon Thank you very much!
@@alexanderkolbl1826 Sand 3 is the jacket. I have the same (also the same bike).
225mm x 295 mm ? are you sure?

Not a fan of the roll top style then?
@@UrbanRiderlondon no, it's just too cumbersome when you just want to take a quick picture

So bit small for laptop, work clothes and shoes I guess
