While the sinking is obviously time compressed (it actually took 2 hours and 40 minutes), in reality Titanic really did go down that fast after breaking. Once a ship lousy its buoyancy, it goes down like a rock.
@@luckymuddypaw well, it happened a long time ago, feeling bad for it wont change anything, its good to see bad things in history in a posotive way, instead of crying and feeling bad, just appreciate the work the people did on the game.
Fun Fact: The dog is one of 3 that escaped all the ones who escaped were small dogs the big ones died. Titanic FLOOD time: 2hrs and 40 min Titanic Build time: 3 yrs Sink time: 4 min (she flooded for 2hrs 40 min but she started sinking when the bow went under) 2:17: bow goes under smokestack falls shortly after 2:18: The split 2:19: breakup the bow (front) completley disconnects from the stern (back) and sinks far below the water 2:20: The final plunge
On board: 2.202. Lost:1,522. Saved: 706. Also lost: 13 dogs. 3 dolls & 14 teddy bears. The date: Sunday 14/ Monday 15 April 1912. 11.30pm she hit the iceberg. She finally sank at 2.20am. I am a Titanic buff, so I thought I'd give you the correct official figures. (Just for your intrest!) Although how anyone really knows, is beyond me, as nobody has ever found a full passenger & crew list.
Kind of the problem with this kind of game. TH-camrs are used to talking to keep people paying attention, but this game sort of needs to be played silently.
I'm sorry. "I *know* all about *the Titanic* and I cry every day because *I* love the ship. I love ships*, and* that's why when I'm older, I will build a ship*.*"
This was an accelerated sinking, the real ship took 2 hours 41 minutes to sink. However, I believe after she broke she did take under two minutes to completely submerge. Her fourth, or farthest aft, funnel did not serve the same purpose as the other three, instead providing ventilation for the engine rooms and galleys, allowing for a less smoky environment than other ships had to offer.
I wish you paid more attention to what was going on in the lifeboat. I’ve seen the entire VR sinking but it might have been people’s first time and they’ll be very confused on what is going on
The ship would have sunk that fast after breaking apart because of most of the ship’s inside being exposed to the water so it could flood in at accelerated rates.
Also, the plaque is commemorate the almost 1,500 that died and nearly 700 that survived. People say to not touch the ship. Just look at it. We do not want to disrespect the dead ones and their family's
I think the false smokestack was the last one. If my memory serves, it was basically located directly over the start of the engine room so really there was no need for it other than to make the ship seem even bigger and more luxurious.
Douglas Masters Yeah, that’s basically it. Was used for ventilation, had a 1st class smoking room, and a ladder for crew members. Actually think said ladder was used by a surviving crew member to escape the ship as it sank
The aft stack was 'fake' even though it was the chimney to the 1st class smoke room, ventilation to the galley and turbine room, and kennels. By law at the time Titanic only legally required 16 boats as the done lifeboat numbers based on tonnage not capacity if I recall correctly, every ship over about 10 or so thousand tons only need 16, that is fine on a ship of that tonnage with a capacity small enough for all of those boats, Titanic was 46000 tons with a capacity over 3000 thankfully she was not full on the night with only 2208 passengers, Titanic had 20 boats 4 more than legal limit and was originally designed with enough for everyone around 60 boats but they were told to reduce the number I forget who by however as they didn't think they would be needed. At the time she had slipped beneath the waves at 2 20 am 2 hours and 40 minuets after the collision the crew had only managed to launch 18 of the 20 lifeboats, so even if the ship have the amount as originally designed it wouldn't have made much of a difference. She split just forward of the 3rd stack even though this shows aft of the 3rd stack, the bow being pointed remained relatively un damaged from the decent and when hitting bottom the decks were crushed down by a huge amount of water from the wake of the ships decent impacting the decks, the stern went down break end first and as water flooded it on the way down would most likely have knocked down interior walls along with the stern imploding (If I recall correctly it was load enough to be faintly heard on the surface) everything below the 3rd funnel from the 3rd funnel deck house to around the outboard screw reciprocating engines was torn off, the reciprocating engines are still viable on the wreck with the High, Medium and the aft most Low pressure cylinders viable, the fore Low pressure cylinders which was located in front of the High pressure were also torn off. The experience is speed up or you would be there for 2 hours and 40 minutes but I do believe that the stern after splitting did sink rather rapidly as it was still full of air in places on the way down so hadn't been fully flooded hence the implosions. Not all life boats were launched half full I believe it was 1st officer Murdoch how was launching them to as full capacity as he could and was also putting men women children in them as the order was women and children first not only, there are photos of boats launched from the side he was lowering from I think it was port and the life boats he launched you can see in these photos they are really full almost to capacity compared to the other side with boats half full.
Yeah, the stern was attached to the bow through the hull at the bottom. So, the bow pulled the stern down with it until it was vertical. Then, the bow detached and the stern started taking on water. It went down like a torpedo and went into a spiralling position under the water's surface. It began to rip apart and explode, then it hit the ocean floor.

The smoke stack in the back is not a smoke stack its a ventilation system thats why the stern stack does spray smoke.

3 hrs to sink + so awsome
Yes, the ship went down pretty quickly after it broke up.
