Deet | Dark Crystal | Weta Workshop Statue

I recently received my open edition 1:6 scale statue of Deet from Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance!
I figured this might be of interest to those who follow the channel as I have been immensely inspired by the works of both Brian Froud and Jim Henson.
It's more of a showcase than a review or an unboxing. Just hoped to show off the incredible attention to detail that Weta Workshop put into their work, each and every time!

The only good thing about that T.V. series. She deserved a better story.

Too bad it was too expensive to keep going… a second season would have been great. But practical effects are way too expensive., and cgi just wouldn’t have felt right.

It is a shame. But I'm just glad we got the season that we did. Close to 10 hours of world class practical effects and puppetry. In today's film industry that is a truly extraordinary thing!
