Ah good times, Ragnarok Online will always hold a special place in my heart, there was just something so charming about that game that I never really felt in other mmorpgs even ones that where technically better made.
One of the best songs in the game for me. Juperos was such a fun region well at least i thought level 1 was a lot of fun that circular maze area with all the stairs was just a nightmare. This was my other farm area if there were too many people at Geffenia... was a lot of fun to lure like 60 Venatu together in a huge mass and then sharpshoot them all in one go. had to be careful to not get stunned by a Dimik though because you could get instantly killed by the Venatu if you did. i remember they had some snipe special ability that never missed.
Ever since this came out, I've always thought this track and Naive Rave were probably intended for the opposite maps, with this being Biolab's theme and Naive Rave being for Juperos. To me, this track has a much more "mysterious" feel, while Naive Rave is more mechanical. The two tracks (and their respective dungeons) were added to the game in the same update, so I've always wondered if there was just some mixup between the composers and the devs about which track was intended to play where. Something interesting is that Ragnarok DS uses this track for its final boss, which I think makes much more sense if this is indeed Biolab's theme as Biolab was the ultimate dungeon at the time. In any case, it's extremely easy to adjust which track plays where (the game only looks at the numbers of the mp3 files), so I have always swapped them.
Lee Myung-jin is the writer of the Manhwa the game is based on. I'm assuming its related to the fact that he stopped the series to work on/with the game.
I remember soloing this on my 0% level 98 Sin to level 99 in a day on Loki servers. Mob with double Fortune Daggers, hide and switch to Katar and Grimtoothed the mob to death with a curse arrow. What made it even better was because of my low dex, each miss reset grimtooth so the attack went off as quickly as I could click. The music definitely kept me going!
1:43 is what gets me. That bit goes so hard. Its get a kind of elevating heavenly feeling to it or something. This track is amazing. Never played this game that far but I know this is that Vesper place or whatever. Just watched my brother play it on free server but he wasn't super 1337 though. Couldn't and can't quite get into this myself 😢. The pain of carpal tunnel is a real threat and this game really hurt my wrists😂 Such a cool game anyway.
I have very specific memories of guild parties here where we'd mob up at least half of the map for a couple of HWs to kill. ......and then a certain 99 agi sinx guild leader of ours would mob the entire map on us and we would either succeed or wipe.
@@romanpetrov5798 The funny thing is, it would ALWAYS ALWAYS eventually result in my death, because when I mob-train, I HORDE train. However it killed so many enemies so fast it was worth the death penalty. Because the more enemies hit me at once the more reflected damage, thus resulting in near instant death of the enemy mob once I got it rolling.
