I need some help. I tried this and fir some reason when I try to put insulin in, it comes back out the front and it does have some resistance. What am i supposed to do? I don't want to take it out because I only have 2 as a sample. Has anyone else run into this?

This maybe too late for you but it might help other. You will need to take it out as it may have linked and is causing the resistance. When you take it out, examine it and if there are issues then contact the company that you brought it from. I had this issue and some fell out but they replaced them all.

just want to know doctors say that keep changing the injection site . but if use this device i have to use the same site.

Dude you have to change injection site because it leaves scar tissue if you stick in the needle at the same spot everytime. You don’t actually stick in the needle with this device. The insulin is delivered through a tube.

Does it matter if you inject both your fast acting and longer lasting insulin’s in the same place I’m a type one diabetic as well and I want to look into getting the I-port

No - both can be taken through the same iPort

Hi I am using the i port. In the UK the advice is to leave 1 hour between injecting fast and long acting injection. I think there is a small chance some of the fast acting may still be in the port so in theory that could mean the longer acting may be quickened up if it got mixed up.

Its advised to take rapid acting first and wait for 60min to give long acting if you have to take both at same time.
