Thought we had to change and stop giving out high salaries. No way should an 18 year old get such a high salary. If he won't sign a new deal, sell in the summer.
Wages between £115k to £135k per week I think is a reasonable salary among most of the players who contribute by playing matches for the team. This is also a salary that I hope the club will agree on for any new players bought in 2025. Salaries between £150k and £200k per week should be reserved for elite players who have a lot to show so far in their career.
No outsider would react if Mainoo, Amad, and Garnacho had the same salary as Yoro. £115k per week would create peace and harmony within the squad, and it is a salary that will not cause problems in the event of any sales in the near future. Personally, I think they will all stay at the club, but a small question mark around Garnacho. Not because of potential, but whether he is the right player in Amorim's system.
Was absolute cringe how some of the other bigger fan channels were reacting to the headline of Mainoo and Garna not being safe from being sold if the right offer comes in. Like you guys said, there's plenty to bash INEOS with but this is absolutely not it. I cringed at the mass hysteria under the comment sections of them channels yesterday.
So Flex, in case you're interested this is how options work - I have negotiated many deals in a completely different industry, but the concept and commercial workings of options are as follows: You can, at least theoretically, have parent club's options although much rarer I suppose, or loan club's options. So the loan club's option to buy is basically a max fee for the player executable at a given date towards the end of the loan agreed with other terms prior to the loan. In this Rashford/Milan case let's assume they agree on an option to buy for 25M. If Milan at the right time think he's worth more they will execute the option, pay the 25M and he's theirs. If they think he's worth less they will let him come back to us end of the loan term, so really in itself the loan club's buy option holds no benefit to the parent club and will only be introduced into the negotiations for leverage, say for United to achieve that Milan pay a larger proportion of his salary than they would otherwise agree to.
Sancho may only get us 25m in the summer but we also saved 350k a week for 11 months so like another 15m so really we’ve saved/made 40m from Sancho selling him to Chelsea last summer.
I would assume we would set an obligation for Rashford at lower than an option, plus negotiate a sell on fee like we've done well recently. e.g Obligation at £50m, Rashford's current market value, Option at £60m, closer to Rashford's highest market value of 4 years ago, which was £85m.
Mainoo definitely has great foot work, but he's not a quick player. The performance he showed against Liverpool was outstanding as he was showing the same level of tenacity as Amad. But if he plays like he usually does which i don't think suits a typical Amorim quick type player with great footwork. Then I believe a price tag should be there if anyone wants him at a good price. but he's certainly at the bottom of our list of who needs to go.
I don’t think Maino & Garnacho stories are true- Amorim said people are too comfortable here, I think this is a way to try and get it a bit uncomfortable..
I know we need to get rid of some if not the majority of these players but geese putting the whole squad up for sale and putting it out there could surely kill the moral in the squad. We really need to get new owners. My club is really in the MUD from top to bottom.
If Chelsea come above 14th, they are obligated to buy Sancho. If they come 15th Sancho returns to Man Utd. If they had an option to buy they would have first dibs after the loan.
Expectation: 80M bid from a club willing to pay Rashford's salary. Reality: Free loan with United paying 60% of Rashford's wages. Stop being delusional.
Research before you speak about something you both don't know what you're talking about 🤣 it can be complicated lol Chelsea just need to finish top half to trigger the OBLIGATION for sancho
kobbie is on 1 million per year therefore if chelsea offered to buy him for 50 million and put him on 150k per week and man utd refuse the bid kobbie could refuse to train until the club are forced to allow him to go just like antony did for example
What flex and owen needs to understand is that the game has changed. Look at madrid and their players. All young and delivering at ages 20-24. Look at lamin. Nowadays at 19 a footballer has a maturity of 26. That's facts. If u keep kobe on 20k then u better get rid of the overpaid trash shaw mount casemiro harry and trashy as fast as possible. Or pay him atleast 60-90k before if he is legit and madrid come in with a offer they will not only pay United 60-70m but they will pay kobe 150k after tax. Because they get players aged 18-22 and utilise them for 7-8 yrs and then find a idiot club like Manchester United and sell their older players(casemiro varane). Or let some to retire there like modric or Kroos. So think from kobes perspective. He's getting paid 20k to do 120k worth of work. United will accept offers. Comes in a madrid or chelsea and he will probably leave. Because nowadays with injury and all prime is 20-28 and not 26-32 like it used to be.

Everyone is sellable...I don't care. Stop this Player FC nonsense. If we can sell our youngsters to buy better player i'm all for it!
Mainoo has the potential to be generational stop it
@LanceODoherty5905 🤣
Buy back clauses
@@LanceODoherty5905everyone is for sale EVERYONE. We are 13th I don’t have any favourites. Stop the player fc. Kobbie can go too
Why do people act like we haven’t been doing that for 3 seasons already, the only problem is the players bought are never that good!

Their channels are based on pandering to the Qatari crowd, anything anti ineos makes them money

No there wouldn’t he bang average !
@@kevinthompson2217shut tf up plzz he’s 19 and more accomplished than any other teenager in the league 💀
If hes demanding bigger monry then he can go.... he has to earn it not just have it handed out to him like United have been doing for the past decade
Bro is still only 18...and still better than any of our midfielders and you say his average 😂😂😂

Option… bless not the sharpest tools in the box 😀
Players should get a basic salary and if they are successful, top up with bonus
Loan to buy for Rashford would work time for him to go. Hope he rips up Serie A

Sancho is all hype. Even at Chelsea - he is 2 goals and 4 assists which is average contribution.
We spend 62% of income on salaries, transfers etc
Anywhere, but here money not the issue.

Soon as you start eating I’m gone don’t like it !!!
It's 6:30p. In The Philippines
LOANS ARE A WASTE OF TIME UNLESS WITH A COMMITMENT TO BUY.

good thing about rashford is we will always get more for him than we paid, only way we don't get ripped off
