Rescue Operations - Mountain Rescue, Austria - Episode 2

In the second episode of our rescue operations series we join the mountain rescue Upper Austria team as they carry out a terrestrial rescue mission. The team responds to a call for help at the multipitch route “Kreuzkante” on “Hohes Kreuz” near Grünau im Almtal, Austria. A 28-year-old climber has fallen while lead climbing and sustained a knee injury. @@Floig because they have a shorter way up, secondly, they came on foot from the top, which gives the opportunity to lift the stretcher up, you will pass them by rescuers and descend on foot with the stretcher.
Judging by the amount of gear, I don't have enough rope to get them down to the base of the wall.
From the point of view of the danger of the rope abrasion on sharp edges, the "Alpine set" or the "Gramminger" set would be used, which consists of steel lines and a winch, and today it is replaced with a dyneema rope... I understand that this is a promotional video, but everyone strives to simplify the action to the maximum in rescue... double plates two Mestro after all it weighs tons. it is not practical.

Maybe they’re attempting to lower to a much larger platform for a medi-vac. Who knows, there are several possible scenarios. Besides, this is just a Petzl product promo, not instructional.
