My character, lawrence, has used it to slap people. It doesn't actually hurt, but if he's in a situation where he does it, theres a garuntee that the person already hates him and BOY HOWDY does it piss them off. Teiflings are fucking awesome. Being the most moral one of this particular group was not a high bar to clear :P But yes I love Molly. He was the best of them. Caduceus was, of course, also that, but man. So much potential.
When you're an impoverished lad from the sticks, you think sticking up a group of travellers will be an easy way to earn some money, then all of a sudden the head of the gang disappears in a cloud of carbonised dust, one of your teammates gets belted out of nowhere by a giant floating lollipop, and a teifling with a huge spiked glaive and a very threatening level of sexual energy says he might give you a bath, that's probably a bit more than the lad can handle.
This is the moment that cemented Molly as my favorite of the Nein. They're all amazing, but he is such a good dude. He doesn't care those people just tried to rob them, he saw them for what they were, poor peasants who had no real other choice to turn onto thievery on the Amber Road if they wanted to survive. JND true but it’s a pretty sad assumption that Molly’s backstory had more than just him dying and coming back. Chances are he died from something other than a stab through the heart last time
This has become one of my favorite animations. I remember watching this live and giggling but this emulates exactly what I saw in my head and I love how Molly used his tail to hold the weapon when handing out the gold pieces.

honestly I'm looking forward to what Mercer can get out of this. Molly's backstory makes it clear that death isn't really the end. Who knows, maybe 50 episodes down the line we'll see some entirely new person in Molly's body, just walking around.
Molly and Jester are my absolute favorite of the bunch. Jester is definitely not really named jester, someone said she calls herself that to make people happy. She's incredibly naive and mischievous at the same time. It's sort of adorable. She's developed a lot since the beginning. And, Molly, he was... Interesting. I liked him. I don't know if Jeffe wants to bring him back. Mr. Clay used a decompose cantrip on him, and Jaffe said he did it as a sort of peace of mind thing. I'm surprised his necklace didn't stablisie him though.

Just finished this episode last night and this is spot on beautiful and perfect. Beau coming in with the "...well YOU were barely paying attention-" was so good and you animated it excellently to a T. One of my favorite moments, only followed up by them only giving a single silver piece to the beggar's child before they entered Zadash. One gold each for bandits that would have killed them would they have had the stones to do it, but only a silver piece for a beggars child so that no more beggars children come running to their cart before they get into town. If I was DMing and they gave a gold piece, they would have had a "popularity" problem on their hands lol but it's also funny to imagine that their morals are so misaligned with reality that giving one gold coin apiece to some stupid bandits who lost their leader and telling them to go on their way and do good from now is a good deed, but that only giving a silver piece to a mud soaked child of a single mother living on the outskirts of town in pure squalor only makes sense because all it really means is that this group truly doesn't know what the hell it's doing. And that's with the exact same brains behind Vox Machina with them. Circumstance is everything, ja?
