@@alansvensson9278 Believe me,I tried dosen of combination with curve settings and finally I found default settings are best, specially for games with response curve implement in game settings. If you play pubg or similar games without response curve settings you have benefit and reason to change stick settings with controller application. New cod mw have that settings implement in game and you just need to choose response curve in option settings to your preference. Mine is 5/5 and dynamic. Jump and slide/crouch are binded on back buttons S2-jump,S3 slide and aim and shoot is L1/R1. That's all. And don't change default shafts on controller,46° amplitude rules. I was amazed about this controller, I got it just 2 weeks after COD MW released (not even a year has passed since then). It worked fine for at least 2 months, then the left joystick started with issues, it stays in its place as it should be, but it starts going upwards, so it means that your characters in any game will start walking without even moving the joystick, after 3 months the same shit happened with the triggers! They started activating without even touching them. Imagine how frustrating that is in shooters! I wouldn't recommend it if you're a hardcore gamer, it won't stand the heat.

I’ve had an Astro since June, it is an amazing controller, the build quality is superb and I’ve had no issues with it. I’m way better at most games now. I highly recommend it 10 times better than my scuf impact I’ve used for over a year!
Gehab: I recommend you take a look at his and others videos on BATTLE BEAVER. They cost a lot but seems to be the best thing on the market. A ton of customizability and from what I've read most pros use them. The only thing to consider is if it's worth purchasing a expensive controller this late into PS4:s lifespan. :) Take care! DOWLord

Firstly, sorry for my English if I have made mistakes. Today I bought this controller and I would like to make a little review. Recently I have begun playing FPS games like borderlands 3 and modern warfare, and I realized that the ps4 controller is too small for my hands since my right-hand gets aches after 1 hour playing fps games. Then I decided to buy a bigger controller like the Xbox1 controller. Today I got this controller and here are my first thoughts. The L1 and R1 buttons feel weird. You have to press on the outer edges of these buttons but my index fingers are long and I am used to pressing these buttons with my whole fingers not the tip of my fingers. The R2-L2 buttons have too much tension and more distance comparing to DS4. Since it does not have the locks to lower the distance of these buttons like other pro controllers, it will be like a workout for your right index finger during FPS games. I think this controller is more suitable for racing games rather than fps games. I do not care about back buttons, but paddles would be better and more comfortable. Aside from these, I do not have any complaints. I know I have only written the negative sides. But I am sure you can find tons of TH-camrs only praising this controller.
Mustafa ÜNLÜ I would like to tell you to return the controller if communication is important to you as if you plug in any microphone the audio quality it picks up will be reduced to a £5 microphone. I have tested this on 3 controllers same problem my friend can barely hear me.
This is definitely my favorite "Pro" controller. I am not a pro but this gives me the options I need since I have no problem with the height of the thumb sticks, and some other things, and it's really high quality. Absolutely love it
its not high quality at all. it literally lasted for month before i had to return it. i bought another one and same story. 170€ for one month before the sticks both got broken and i have never been so gentle with controller in my life.
GH_HELLFIRE-YT no dude trigger stops isnt a software its a function where you decrease travel time of your triggers. A software cant change physical features. Control is garbage. Sticks suck and no trigger stops on a elite controller lulz..
Omron make more than just mouse click buttons they also make regular switches. Those back buttons probably are Omron also just a different style because if they went with mouse buttons on the back they would have had to use a lever system that would suffer from wear and tear, where as going with a plunger omron switch on the back and mouse switches on just the bumpers eliminates that issue.
Of course they will not be. It’s too expensive to build a good quality controller. Parts are already too expensive for next gen. they can’t afford to improve controller. It’s going to be cheap plastic.

Why does nobody make it so you can map two buttons onto one back button. It would be something to have one button that does jump+shoot, and one dive+shoot. Okay take it apart and see if it’s easy to replace the analogue sticks with magnetic ones so can add changeable height feature.
I have been using this controller for three months already 6hrs a day with no issues! I prefer to use it cabled as the response is better for spf. The system might be a bit complicated talking about setting up the 3 curves for the thumb sticks but you can find few video guides on utube that can help you to understand what may suits your needs. So far I don’t like the 4 buttons under it as to me they are too close to each other and small so is easy to push the wrong one, that’s why I set both for the same button: jump and crouch. The profile selection button is too easy to push by mistake and sometimes you switch profile setting with out realising it immediately. I also found the cross buttons slow to respond sometimes maybe need some extra pressure that on a fast game you might not apply at first. Overall I am satisfied. I would buy it again as for PS4 there are no better options. Scuff has amazing back buttons but it brakes! Always! And the thumb sticks are not as good as the Revolution.👍 For who is talking about trigger stops: why would you need them if you can just set the response and the track? I have mine set to 0 to 50
I've used Sugru 'glue' on the rear buttons to make them easier to press and differentiate between them. (I also put a small grub screw into the right trigger to give myself a 'trigger stop')
I have this controller currently right now had it since June and my left stick has a north stick drift dont know if it’s from wear and tear or if it’s just needs a software update but unstoppable the left stick just reacts as if your pushing it up I’ve contacted Nacon for a replacement yet I have no response this is crazy cause this started happening about a week ago, no bobby shmurda, would I recommend getting this controller yes it has flaws but after a long use you’ll get used to it and become more dominant in play but the price your paying for the possibility of a worn left or right stick causing drift or some deficiency it’s not worth it great review AIR BEAR !
Seems like a few of their devices having the same issue as someone on this thread has a also reported the same issue as yours. I was looking to buy but I am now going to look for an alternative. A solid after sales service is important to me and that starts with communication so if they are not even responding, for me its a 👎🏽

That's not a REVOLUTION PRO CONTROLLER 3... the circle, triangle, square, and cross buttons are colour on the V3 - you're reviewing the Revolution Unlimited (it even says so on the box in the beginning - that's at least 6 months old) which has the greyed out buttons 🤔the V3 even has a big "3" on the box
With all these V2 controlles, how evitable is a V2 of the Astro C40 by now? The c40 stick modules are terrible with them feeling looser and need replacements every other month. Both of my sticks ended up having drift/neutral position problems. All I want is a pro controller with high durability. How difficult is that.
Hopefully they make a new one. I was planning to get their controller but thanks to the lack of 4 remappable buttons, I didn't. That is since I would still have to move my right thumb to press the other 2 unmapped buttons. But if they went with 4, I would never have to move my right thumb.
Get the BROOK Xbox One to PS4 adapter and an Xbox Elite controller. That's better than the C40, Nacon or Razer Raiju. I own all of them and the BROOK and Elite combo are the best. The software for the Nacon isn't supported in the U.S. You have to do a workaround. And the lack of trigger locks is a glaring omission for a pro controller.
I bought one, wish I hadn't, probably the most uncomfortable pads I've ever used. Went and bought a Razer Wolverine Tournament edition to replace it and that was undoubtedly the best pad I've ever bought.

I’m not a Boomer, but I’m old, and I’m used to playing PC games with the WSAD for movement and the mouse for camera. I just bought a PS4 & am having trouble getting used to the joysticks. Would this be useful for me? Can I use the D pad (is that the correct term?) to move around? The 4 keys seem more intuitive for me. Thank you in advance.
If you do purchase this controller find some kind of warranty to purchase. The top triggers will loose their tack tile bump almost within a week of use and feel like they are jammed and sometimes trigger on their own. I returned the controller twice were the same issue occurred with each trigger and on the 3rd time just opted for a refund

I didn’t think I could get used to Xbox style controller until got the Astro and moved it around cause it was handier for NFS can change my live car tunes on the fly during race like have one tune totally now for start launch then one that will actually let car turn and slide some, then one that makes it loose as hell for top speed in case need to catch up on straights lol. With analogies together I would have had to take thumb off steering stick which was never good idea.
Had it for almost 3 weeks. Unfortunately my right trigger broke down so returned it right away to Amazon. It started to be very loose like there was no tension what so ever. When it worked it was amazing. But then during my session I felt like spring snapping under my right trigger. Durability is questionable so think twice before buying. Read opinions like I should have 👍🏻
I wanted a nacon and ended up going with a scuf vantage. It was on sale for 150, been playing around with it and everything works fine. It doesn't feel as fragile as people claim it to be. Wireless feels really good but I like wired connection. Buttons are super easy to remap on the map eith 4 buttons. And you get 2 side buttons as well to give you an edge during those intense moments. I could be bias since this is my first pro controller but I'm really happy with my purchase. Its silver and it kinda reminds me of a gamecube controller

lowkey good to me cause i want regualr height thumbsticks but domes (convex) if you get me and you cant really find that anywhere. that being said these sticks arent even fully domed. which suck but at least the idea is being put out there and we will see more sticks being made all types of ways.

I'm happy with the MIC mute button. Makes it soo much nicer streaming. I can mute my mic to my party easily and keep my stream mic open.

Maybe modify triggers with stops and make back buttons a little more pronounced could be a definite scuf killer!

I have been using this controller for three months already 6hrs a day with no issues! I prefer to use it cabled as the response is better for spf. The system might be a bit complicated talking about setting up the 3 curves for the thumb sticks but you can find few video guides on utube that can help you to understand what may suits your needs. So far I don’t like the 4 buttons under it as to me they are too close to each other and small so is easy to push the wrong one, that’s why I set both for the same button: jump and crouch. The profile selection button is too easy to push by mistake and sometimes you switch profile setting with out realising it immediately. I also found the cross buttons slow to respond sometimes maybe need some extra pressure that on a fast game you might not apply at first. Overall I am satisfied. I would buy it again as for PS4 there are no better options. Scuff has amazing back buttons but it brakes! Always! And the thumb sticks are not as good as the Revolution.👍
For who is talking about trigger stops: why would you need them if you can just set the response and the track? I have mine set to 0 to 50
I've used Sugru 'glue' on the rear buttons to make them easier to press and differentiate between them. (I also put a small grub screw into the right trigger to give myself a 'trigger stop')
I have this controller currently right now had it since June and my left stick has a north stick drift dont know if it’s from wear and tear or if it’s just needs a software update but unstoppable the left stick just reacts as if your pushing it up I’ve contacted Nacon for a replacement yet I have no response this is crazy cause this started happening about a week ago, no bobby shmurda, would I recommend getting this controller yes it has flaws but after a long use you’ll get used to it and become more dominant in play but the price your paying for the possibility of a worn left or right stick causing drift or some deficiency it’s not worth it great review AIR BEAR !
Seems like a few of their devices having the same issue as someone on this thread has a also reported the same issue as yours. I was looking to buy but I am now going to look for an alternative.
A solid after sales service is important to me and that starts with communication so if they are not even responding, for me its a 👎🏽

That's not a REVOLUTION PRO CONTROLLER 3... the circle, triangle, square, and cross buttons are colour on the V3 - you're reviewing the Revolution Unlimited (it even says so on the box in the beginning - that's at least 6 months old) which has the greyed out buttons 🤔the V3 even has a big "3" on the box

how to distinguish the Nacon revolution unlimited V3 from the V2?
With all these V2 controlles, how evitable is a V2 of the Astro C40 by now?
The c40 stick modules are terrible with them feeling looser and need replacements every other month. Both of my sticks ended up having drift/neutral position problems.
All I want is a pro controller with high durability. How difficult is that.
Hopefully they make a new one. I was planning to get their controller but thanks to the lack of 4 remappable buttons, I didn't. That is since I would still have to move my right thumb to press the other 2 unmapped buttons. But if they went with 4, I would never have to move my right thumb.

Get the BROOK Xbox One to PS4 adapter and an Xbox Elite controller. That's better than the C40, Nacon or Razer Raiju. I own all of them and the BROOK and Elite combo are the best.
The software for the Nacon isn't supported in the U.S. You have to do a workaround. And the lack of trigger locks is a glaring omission for a pro controller.

Geezum The Great it has stick drift after a few months and some late responses but it’s still a good controller but beware of the glitches

I bought one, wish I hadn't, probably the most uncomfortable pads I've ever used. Went and bought a Razer Wolverine Tournament edition to replace it and that was undoubtedly the best pad I've ever bought.

David sherman, you tried the nacon unlimited on pc? Your audio and mic works connected on the controller? I have this issue, mine audio and mic doesnt work on pc direcly on controller, but if i switch on "1 and 2" mode the audio returns but loses the controller keys

I’m not a Boomer, but I’m old, and I’m used to playing PC games with the WSAD for movement and the mouse for camera. I just bought a PS4 & am having trouble getting used to the joysticks. Would this be useful for me? Can I use the D pad (is that the correct term?) to move around? The 4 keys seem more intuitive for me. Thank you in advance.

If you do purchase this controller find some kind of warranty to purchase. The top triggers will loose their tack tile bump almost within a week of use and feel like they are jammed and sometimes trigger on their own. I returned the controller twice were the same issue occurred with each trigger and on the 3rd time just opted for a refund

I didn’t think I could get used to Xbox style controller until got the Astro and moved it around cause it was handier for NFS can change my live car tunes on the fly during race like have one tune totally now for start launch then one that will actually let car turn and slide some, then one that makes it loose as hell for top speed in case need to catch up on straights lol. With analogies together I would have had to take thumb off steering stick which was never good idea.

Had it for almost 3 weeks. Unfortunately my right trigger broke down so returned it right away to Amazon. It started to be very loose like there was no tension what so ever. When it worked it was amazing. But then during my session I felt like spring snapping under my right trigger. Durability is questionable so think twice before buying. Read opinions like I should have 👍🏻

I wanted a nacon and ended up going with a scuf vantage. It was on sale for 150, been playing around with it and everything works fine. It doesn't feel as fragile as people claim it to be. Wireless feels really good but I like wired connection. Buttons are super easy to remap on the map eith 4 buttons. And you get 2 side buttons as well to give you an edge during those intense moments. I could be bias since this is my first pro controller but I'm really happy with my purchase. Its silver and it kinda reminds me of a gamecube controller
Please also review and explain the software (specificly the adjustments of the thumbstick curves)

I have a scuf and I have drift but it's the right stick on mine. I switch my sprint modes to double click l3 but that right stick drift is tough

Hi, thanks for this review, very perfect, after 3 years, the L1 and R1 button are really à problem ( fiability omron) and hard to activate like you say in your video. I need New pad for my pc, i don t know Xbox elite v2 or this nacon. I have the nacon revolution 2, very nice, but L1 and R1 are broken .. i play with th rear button to use L and R1 ( broken, not the omron the issue). My question for elite v2 is the button a,b,x,y , small and not nice? The nacon button is perfect.

lowkey good to me cause i want regualr height thumbsticks but domes (convex) if you get me and you cant really find that anywhere. that being said these sticks arent even fully domed. which suck but at least the idea is being put out there and we will see more sticks being made all types of ways.

Why do they have the PlayStation logo on there. Just ruining the whole thing. It's obviously primarily and Xbox design. And yet has a PlayStation on it. I was interested in this controller. Until I noticed that obvious incongruence. If you could swap that out for another button. That said either PC or Xbox. That might be acceptable. But no.!!
