Living the Dream at another perfect campsite

I left the beautiful Sunshine Coast and headed south down the M1 and over the Gateway Bridge to the Gold Coast to another one of my favourite caravan parks in Coolangatta.
Staying at places like this is a bit of a luxury for me, and doesn't happen very often as I usually choose low cost or free camping options, but I can justify it from time to time if I can make good money busking there.
I came here for my favourite festival: Cooly Rocks On where I was selected to be one of the official Cooly Rocks On buskers so spent my entire first week here practicing saxophone every day and learning more rock n roll and 50s songs to add to my repertoire for this event.

It’s a great spot! Still had the old “Gold Coast before it became Gold Coast” vibes even last time I was here but that’s quickly changing with more and more new high rise building construction everywhere along the foreshore now…As they said in “The Castle”: “You can’t stop progress”… but I wish it could stay the way it was 🌞
