I got my first Leathermen (Black) from my Army Commander for doing a great job. Over 20 years ago. Still have it on my side today.

Started carrying the T4 paired with my Victorinox Huntsman. Really like the T4. It’s a great “Dad, can you help me with…” tool if you have young kids. The deep pocket carry is outstanding. It is a lot thinker than an EDC blade, but I have gotten used to it when wearing my 5.11 Taclite Pros. Really like the tool! Thanks for the vid!

I've carried a swiss army knife for more than 40 years. Some years ago I switched to the Victorinox Swiss Army Evogrip S557 Medium Pocket Knife because it had a locking blade and rubber grips. I also have other multi tools like leatherman but the swiss army knife has always been my primary EDC.

I'm the same, but I switched to a Victorinox lock blade because I hated the location of the Wenger lock.

Another great video! For my purpose just like you my multi-tools are in a pack or also have two in my truck. My EDC that I really like is the Victorinox Army Ranger Pocket. It has a scissors, knife, wood saw, hacksaw, tweezers, and more. I replaced the toothpick with the Fire Fly Ferro Rod. I have never seen these Leathermans before and from your review they both look like awesome small EDC tools. I just might have to get one because you can never have just one edc tool LOL!!!

Thanks Robert! Victorinox makes excellent companions. Stumbling across the Leatherman T2 was a surprise to me as well.

Thanks for the great video, Don. Really cool multi-tools. The best part was you managed not to get cut during the process. LOL

You could attach a small split-ring to the small hole on the T4 and then attach a lanyard to that ring

To be fair victorinox has aftermarket clips too :) The locking thing is one practical advantage (there are locking tools but only on the pliers models) but on the other side not all countries allow locking knives.

The T4 does have a hole for the cord. It is smaller and would be suitable for putting a cord with a thin part. Like cords for cameras and these things.

The leatherman you want for doom is the Victorinox from Switzerland. I mean the big one with the pliers. You showed the regular pocket knive. There is no better.

Good novelty tool for the desk but to thick for carry. Your mainly going to use just the knife anyways. I’ll stay with multitool pliers on a belt or in an ankle holster. I wish there were more ankle holsters on the market with different pockets and configurations for multitools, flashlights, mags, pepper spray, exc. Keeps your pockets and waistline clear and you won’t look like your on duty lol. Love the review’s Sootch00. Keep up the good work. I will admit the knife table usually gets me at the gun show too haha.

I fundamentally disagree with your opinion on the size, it really isn’t big. I carry it and don’t feel it in my pocket. Generally, it’s about the size of your wife’s lipstick. Also, I carry it mostly for the screwdrivers and scissors. The knife is typically used at home to open packages. On my keychain I also carry the leatherman carabiner and the Style PS mixed in with my home keys, car key, AirTag. I carry the Style PS so I can have a tool to fly on a plane with.

I would like to like the t2, but where you say locking is better, I think about carrying laws. Benefit of a red SAK is that if you pull it out of your pocket among non-knife people, they know what it is and don't feel threatened, some are even interested. Still, the t2 for the tools would be a great edc thing. Well thought of.

These are good quality tools but, the huge plastic spacer is ridiculous and the price is offensive !

Those look cheap compared to my Wave that I’ve had I purchased in 2006. The plier jaws cutter are wore out otherwise everything else works fine. The collapsing scissors I use a lot cutting fishing line etc. All I really need is a knife blade, scissors, can opener and pliers. I never used the drivers, saw or file.

Sootch00, I hope you see this. I've been a long time subscriber and I have learned so much from your channels. I was wondering if you had a video on how long it would take for life to get back to somewhat "normal" after SHTF. I've seen some of the videos on how long to approximately prep for, but what about after the dust settles. Stuff along the lines of communications, power grid, local governments, possible marauders , traveling to check on family etc.... Just wondering if you had a video like that or if you could make one on the subject? Thanks

Overpriced, dear Olight employee. Swiss Army tools are superior in every way, in this category of tools. No contest. Also, keep deleting and censoring comments.
