I think the vegetable/fruit you are picking up on is the Rhubarb which is quite unique smelling

I got to be totally honest I picked it up from T.J. Maxx today and you’re right about the mystery fragrance when first sprayed but I got to be honest I wasn’t really feeling this product at all I was expecting more of a deep masculine scent this due to I got more of a floral note wasn’t really feeling it but just my opinion always was impressed with chrome.

Extremely well broken down that you noticed the bitter orange with rhubarb in the opening. From the information I’ve seen it seems like performance is somewhat lacking.

I'm just getting it and I agree with you... It's like a medium peppery, dark, citrusy grapefruit scent. The breakdown says orange in the top, but it smells more like grapefruit. The bottle really smells like grapefruit when opening it after previous use
