I work 25-35 hrs a week only 3 days a week I get payed for 40hrs no matter what and it’s no touch freight I don’t even get out my truck to grab or sign paperwork I’m in and out
My first CDL job was Coca Cola, I worked there for 9 months & then found a decent local No Touch job. Like you said the only trucking jobs that hire you with no experience is food service like Sysco or Coca Cola, mainly because those jobs require a lot of manual labor & the turnover rates be so high in those companies because of that.

Took me two years to be in a position to drive at Old Dominion. You can start there as a dock worker, and apply to drive, but otherwise it’s super hard to get in at the good LTL’s without experience, especially now.
I couldn’t agree more. I actually tried to apply to some of the LTL carriers in my area and I didn’t hear anything back from all three. It’s definitely competitive!
Barney trucking is local and you can make 80k starting out. There are a good amount of local jobs (that take new hires) you just gotta look. I will say it depends on location as well.
Nope there are other chemical & crude oil jobs But yup hard work. & not as good pay but good to start out to get yr experience. Gulfmark is one in tx & LA And Martin & Linden chemicals

They can do ports and cement companies like Robersons and Cemak trucking
