Apparently from what I've heard, there used to be a hot dog that was pushed into a bun/baguette from one end and there was cheese in there. People loved it but haven't been able to find it.
Beautifully shot and presented. Thanks for taking one for the team. As a regular consumer, the millisecond I heard chicken hot dog, I would be gone. All I'm looking for on a dog is thin, beef/pork, spicy brown mustard, sauerkraut and maybe relish/onion sauce and beanless chili. Let's talk Billy's, Gray's Papaya, Hiram's, Rutt's and Katz's. I also don't need a salad or cheese on a dog, unless it's a chili-cheese dog. There's a great place in L.A. called Carney's on Sunset. It's a train. Great chili-cheese dogs and burgers. Haven't been there in a few years, so I can't vouch for consistency.
Doesn't matter where you are, you have to avoid the tourist areas when it's feeding time 😉 Appreciate Chris is doing these places for his channel but near the Eiffel Tower is notorious although not as bad as St Mark's Square in Venice 😶 Best hotdogs I have had in Europe were in Greece and they don't rip you off.
Just found your channel!! Love hot dogs and I am enjoying each video. Ahhhh Paris thanks for taking me where I would love to go one day. Love your honest reviews. Too funny getting lost!! Not a bad place to get lost. Wow such history and beautiful buildings!!
I have visited many places overseas during the years. And I have been to Paris. I find places where the majority of locals eat. I would try to ask locals I encounter for places they would eat. Some hotel desk staff and concierge get kick backs from restaurant recommendations. So I avoid asking them. The hot dog looked good. But I would also prefer a beef hot dog I see that things haven’t changed looking at the Mona Lisa. It was the same scenario when I visited many years ago
nice Pairs Dog cheaper than your first meal dang heart attack on 1000 for toast ..Can we say tourist trap ..you need to eat where the locals eat to save bucks
Chris do you eat pork and chicken hot dogs? I think those by Ball Park are pretty good. The two guys at Schwartz’s didn’t look French but middle eastern. 🤔
Oh yea. They are RUDE in general. Almost like you are lucky they are serving you lol. We had one really good waiter. But he classified as Kurdish. Awesome dude.
Ya, I would not eat a chicken dog. My wife likes Turkey wieners ..... I can't stand they. Did not realize the Louvre was so big. Too big to see everything in one visit.
Actually like anywhere in the world if you eat in Tourist traps you pay through the nose. We were in Paris in October and made sure we ate where locals do and while expensive was 20-50% less expensive than tourist areas.
U all fit in the elevator?
No. Only I fit. I made my family take the elevator with the luggage. That's how I roll.
@@NYCHotDogStands i know I was like man. Gorgeous places & site but if I seen the elevator in the a brochure, I be say nope lol

Go to Clark Hot Dog, near the St Paul station, just right down Rivoli from Schwartz.
They were closed!!!! they were my first pick.

Personally love a soft bun only, but might have tried that. It did look good, even though chicken. Enjoy your vacation!!!

Why do all them European hotdogs look undercooked?
Avocado toast is 18? Thats crazy!!!

Looks too crowded and too touristy to enjoy. But have a good time.
Filmed on a Sunday? Didn't look like there was a lot of traffic. Not sure which is larger, the elevator or an Amtrak shower.
