Just curious, any chance this English translation will be coming to the Switch? I even made a Japanese account a few years ago just so I could play this game and Labyrinth of Touhou 2 on the go. It's a really fun game, but I think it would be even more fun if I could read/understand the plot, rather then just brute force it with gamer instincts.
It's being considered as a possibility in the future. The game still needs a couple more patches to iron out some text issues but the circle will probably go back and revisit the idea then, assuming the upcoming translation of the sequel doesn't get in the way of that (it very well might).
@@HakanaiBlue Thank you for such a prompt and concise reply. I'm very exited to understand the plots for several of the games you have scheduled, Please take care of yourself and thank you for your hard work.
I made a review on this like a year ago, it had an english translation back then, was that just the fan translation? Bc i also see some animations and menu UI's were changed
You most likely played the Weekend version, which for a time, was the most up-to-date PC version, and had a full fan translation. Years later, the V version came out on Vita, PS4, and eventually Switch, with better UIs, another character, some extra dungeon content, and a ton of QoL fixes. Just last October, V came to PC for the first time, and now the game is in English officially.
Hell yeah, it's finally here! Thank you so much for your hard work!
Oh boy! Yukkuris making a comeback baby!
I've almost platinum'd this game (on 255 hours right now)! Once Devil of Decline is translated and on Steam, I'm doing the same with it!
I'm happy to hear you've gotten so much mileage out of GoSV, and the DoDW translation is underway and has been progressing smoothly so far!
Can’t wait
YO SAKUYA DID THE WRY POSE
There are a lot of references to other anime/games/memes in GoS.

Thanks for your service. I do hope to see Gensoumaroku English translation if its possible
