I am a Padres fan and we basically gave that last game away to the Dodgers. Having said that, the last team I wanted to see in the playoffs were the Mets. You have a really good team, great manager and I believe you can and will win against the Dodgers! Go Mets!
I have a feeling the mets are winning this series in 6 the biggest adversary was the Phillies and the mets handled them. Dodgers are a step down from the frightening at bats that schwarber, harper, and costellanos presented. I.m.o.

Wouldn't it have been comically hilarious if Carlos just step out of "the expected response" a second to say after that team meeting loss in LA - "Well I'm sure glad GRIMMACE showed up when he did", and that other song from a guy we stowed away in AA, all planned - Carlos is one cool cat. Wish he had more of playing chance coming up with Mets circa 96-97.

As a diehard Mets fan since I can remember I have 2 things to say. Number 1-PLEASE STOP USING PHIL MATON!!!!!!! He not only throws slow but he can’t find the strike zone. I believe he’s been unable to finish a single inning since the playoffs(the real games) started. He is god awful. Number 2- If I was an opposing coach and just saw Edwin Diaz come in, I’d tell my players to take 2 strikes and maybe 3. He almost certainly will walk the first 3 guys, unless some airhead swings to bail him out. Diaz has always had control problems but now he’s walking guys with 3,4,6 run leads, which is the only way a team can come from behind. Watching game 4 against the Phillies, I said, Dad, guarantee he walks the first 2 guys and boom the tying run is at the plate. This isn’t a new thing, just something that continues to get worse. No more 2 inning save attempts and for the love of god, GET RID OF THAT GOD AWFUL PHIL MATON….OMG BABY!
@@dreshaft Maton facial expressions are those of a guy who is either confused and or not ready for playoff pressure. Diaz has never learned how to pitch he is just a flame thrower. I will never forget his first season with the Mets he blew a significant lead to the nationals in Washington. He gave up a walk off grand slam to Suzuki the catcher. Either way both men wear a Mets uniform and we need them to step up so I’m rooting for them to get right. This manager has done a remarkable job. Let’s GO METS.

Anyone hear the bafoon Trea Turner refusing to give the Mets credit after their 24-12 onslaught, instead suggesting that the Phillies beat themselves😂. Hopefully, that gives the Mets some extra incentive to beat them again in the NLCS. LGM!!!!!
