Kenchan-sensei, your videos are very well done and have been very helpful to me as I prepare to go to Japan for the first time this week. I have liked all of the videos I have seen from you. Your explanations are thorough and I like the historic facts you attach, for example when you spoke about Hachiko in Shibuya. I think you do a great service to Japan by making these videos and providing travelers with a native's perspective. I appreciate them so much. Thank you!
Kenchan, I find all your videos to be very helpful in learning about different areas. You not only provide good insight and your explanations are very helpful. I literally watched hundreds of videos about Tokyo, and I really like how you focus on what matters and keep things to the point. I am visiting Japan Tokyo this month, and I am glad I found your channel. If I could make a suggestion, please think about having a title screen with a few seconds of music (or a self-introduction) before starting your explanation. You have great content, so I think you should have a clear intro screen to make sure people know what they are getting (especially those who watch in a loop). Anyhow, thanks for your efforts!
Tae san, Thank you for such a detailed feedback! I really appreciate it. I was wondering about the exact scene if I'm supposed to go into the topic soon or not. I'd like to take your advice and try to put a short opening scene with self introduction. I hope you have a great trip in Tokyo! Thank you again.
I love all the temples and srines there. The ice cream its very good over there. And I think its a good thing to don't eat while you walk. Asakusa it's a great place. We didn't go on the bridge or the Tokyo Sky Tree. Look beautiful in your video Thank you for sharing
Thank you for this helpful video. I will in Japan for the first time in November and will be staying in Asakusa. I have been researching fun and interesting things to do while there.
Thank you Kenchan for showing us around! My family and I are travelling to Japan in 3 weeks, I found your videos to be the most informative and helpful. 😊
I enjoy watching your videos as they are very informative. Thank you for all your work. It makes it so easy for Japan travellers to make their plane to visit your beautiful country. ❤
Thank you so much. Your videos are helping me SO MUCH in preparation of my Japan trip. For the Sky tree, do you need to make a reservation? Thank you. Videos are helping me.
Thank you for watching. You can purchase the tickets that time slot is reserved, but you can also go there and purchase the tickets. I guess you can enter without waiting much if you book in advance. Have a great trip. :)
Thank you for highlighting one of my favorite areas in Tokyo! Love the vibe always at Asakusa as well as the tourist trap menchi-katsu ! Keep up the consistent uploads Kenchan! I see you are uploading more and more!!
Thank you! I’m glad to hear you also like Asakusa’s festive vibe! I didn’t know about the menchi, so many places visitors know more than me. I have to learn more. :) I’m a little behind the schedule but I’m going to upload at least 8 -10 a month this month to March! Thank you so much for your support!
Hi Brother Ken. For first time visiting Tokyo. Shinjuku or Asakusa do you recommend staying ? I’m looking for many variety of local food by walking distance. I love you sharing the street food near Asakusa.
In Asakusa, souvenir shops close at 4 or 5, while many restaurants are open until mid night or later. So if you liked to see stores, it's better to visit in daytime. Thank you for watching. :)
Hey Bro, I find your videos helpful and enjoyable to watch. Quick question: how do I get to the Senso-Ji Observation Desk? What's it called? And where do I find it on GoogleMaps? Thanks!
Hi, thank you for watching videos. I really appreciate it. It's called Asakusa Tourist Information Center in English. It's the building you see behind in the scene of @1:20 This is the link to the Google map. goo.gl/maps/xsuUVUU2NVs7pQYx9 Hope it helps! :)
@@tokyokenchan oh dear. If in that case I have to bring cash. I'm from Singapore travelling to Japan in December 2023. You trip does support Mastercard and very convenient for me to online transfer. If using bank credit card there are charges impose but not the you trip card.
I checked some stores but some of them seems gone, and I couldn't come up with any specific store that I can tell you with confidence, that they have Jinbei. Sorry. You'll find many kimono shops and souvenir shops that sells Jinbei if you are walking around Nakamise and side streets, especially during summer. If you prefer quality one with cloth from Japan, you might be able to find one in Kimono shop. I'll let you know if I find one when I go to Asakusa next time!
Thanks! We are visiting soon and are loving your videos! Thank you for all of your work!

How interesting that you are attending Japanese wedding! I'm only doing travel topics right now but Japan's cultural topics sounds interesting!

For tourist, payment normally we using via you trip. Are the merchants mostly accept card payment via you trip?
"you trip"? It might not be something widely known in Japan.

Just as you say it's easy to hit people that guy in the grey sweatshirt really bumped into that other dude lol
