This is amazing! I love your channel! I have been planning to retie my own hair because I have a lot of holes and V’s in my hair. This inspired me to believe I can do my own!
This was so informative and exciting to see. The way that I celebrated with you! I felt like I achieved something with you! Thank you so much for sharing your journey.
Good for you on doing it yourself. I had to start my own locs for the same reason. I got so frustrated after being stood up, right before I had an event. I just started them myself. I had been doing research for months of course, but then I decided I would also do my own reties.
@iamblackena thank you. I'm learning that on this journey. I'm also making this journey my own. I am not allowing traditional rules to bring me down. I'm 51 and know my hair.
@@iamblackena I am very excited about it actually. My husband is my number one fan. We actually had the same idea. I just did a retwist last night and I'm even more in love. I don't like the term, "ugly phase." but I understand it. I have moments when I don't feel attractive because I am surrounded by long hair Sistas, but it's ok. That's not my journey.
@@domlianne I usually leave it alone. I prioritize my hair over how it should lie. Then when I’m done and it’s proving stubborn to lie how I want it to lie, I use a clip to arrange it how I want. Truthfully, with microlocs you can easily manipulate it to lie how you want even though the rotation is t complete
Hi, do i pick up at the same stop point for the following retie?. Ex: my last entry point is at 3, Next retie do I start at 3 again or 6? I’m totally confused trying to learn. 😅

Get a crochet needle and crochet it where you see the holes. It's a game changer and now I can't go without it!
I’m not sure how to do it. I need to see the technique

I will be using this video to retie my DIY microlocs in the next few weeks. You were very precise and explained thoroughly, thank you so much ❤
This is refreshing to read. Thank you✨
I love your hair… congrats on retightening your locs… you did a fabulous job. The tutorial was excellent!!!
@@inejones2112 thank you so much ❤️
Great job😊
@@Nadia6210 Thank you🙏🏿.
If you can slightly bend your tool. This will give you better control of the tool and prevent going into the same hole. Happy locing😊
Your hair is beautiful. You did that!!!
@@ojocheyi5703 thank you ❤️
What if you are one or 2 points away from where the hair should lie but its too tight to continue?

Well, with a four point rotation you do not need to remember where you stopped in your previous retie.
