Watched him pitch last year at Double A. Incredible. Even better person, he had to be told by security to leave the field over 30 minutes after the game was over because he was signing autographs. This was at an away game.

POS Nutting has to be willing to sell first. He bought the team in 1996 for $92m, it's now worth $1.3b. I wish he'd just take his profit and GTFO because he clearly doesn't care about winning! As a born and raised Pittsburgher, we don't deserve to have our team held hostage by someone that only cares about using it to make himself money and never put any of it back into trying to build a winning team.

The owner is no longer a joke. He's actually signing the stars long term and basically refused to trade McCutchen regardless of what was being offered. Used to think he was a clown but he must have gotten sick of losing.

Just got home from Victory Field. My 9yr old son went to the dugout for Paul Skenes to sign his Topps Bowman card, nowhere to be seen? Had to miss Thursdays epic showing due my son's travel ball teams double header. I bet Paul was watching Kentucky vs. Tennessee tonight though!

@@SlickRickMedia he’s a really good pitcher but there’s probably like 7 better starters and then depending on how you value relievers probably 5 or 6 more. He’s a really good pitcher being fringe top 15 is really good especially when he’s been a top 3 slugger in baseball.

Pat, if you want to talk about brushback pitches on players who crowd the plate or try to show the pitcher up, look up Bob Gibson. Bob Gibson played for the St. Louis Cardinals and is a Hall of Fame pitcher and he was famous for his brushback pitching and how feared he was by opposing batters. He is a really interesting guy. Ask Jeff Passan about him next time you have him on the show,.
