Remember watching that Lawyer Jester game live and it was so big brain, it’s crazy how quickly they passed information back and forth.
Their SYNERGY!! INSANE.
It really helps that the rest of the players got marinated into believing Ludwig was annoyed of not listening to him the game before.
But yeah, Toast big braining lying about venting while Lud knew he didn't, gave Lud the information that Toast was Jesterizing, and they'd both win if Lud convinced everyone to vote him out.

Toast and Lud as Jester and Lawyer is INSANE. They're both so clever and also so charismatic and great at social cues that they both knew exactly what was up the whole time! I love it

Lud obviously didn't know toast was jester, he was legit mad that toast accused him second time in a row. Its obvious that we looks at chat after vote(top right) and then he says great job. Also toast looked at second screen before calling lud as lawyer. I mean he didn't even follow him to indicate that he is lawer, don't be so naive. Great content though

I can confirm Ludwig knew.
I was watching Ludwig live stream this, he does actually tell chat his whole thought process. At first he was still maulding and he didn't want Toast to win another game, and he was thinking Toast was the witch but then he noticed Toast wasn't venting. So that moment when Toast said he vented, Ludwig 100% knew and realised they could both win.
It was grudgingly but he saw the opportunity, and went for the hard sell.
You can also hear him mutter "good job Toast" on this video just before the Victory screen comes up.
When asked if he knew post game in the lobby he confirmed he did and when realised he "just Yolo-ed".
It did cheer him up and it was really sweet when Toast says "from enemies to friends" (.... and Ludwig replies "and maybe even lovers.") 🤣
I think that last part was to Ludwig's chat only. I haven't seen it in any other streamers clips.

Imo Ludwig is *way* funnier collaboratively than by himself, which I don’t mean as an insult in any way. Of all the streamers I know, Lud is by far the best at playing off the humor of other streamers, and he is effective at many different types of humor. He’s also willing to be the butt of the joke when necessary, and knows exactly how far he can push a situation to make it slightly uncomfortable in a funny way but not to the point of true awkwardness.

That first game was HILARIOUS if you watched it live, because it was so much gaslighting than you see in the video. Toast and Sykkuno tricked the entire lobby into killing the two imposters and then gaslit them long after nothing made sense any more.

Last 3 games were so good at this live. (Almost) every game could be a jester win.
Yeah the full game, especially from Lud’s POV, made the second combo win even funnier and more satisfying from how pissed Ludwig was at how everyone just followed was toast said

He actually did it once. It was one of the old videos where he killed someone by misclick infront of others but coincidentally nobody looked at their monitor at the moment of kill. He convinced it was already there.

I guess they thought there was no way Lud would have been able to see him kill, and vent. Also Lud didn't really explain much maybe he was scared it would out his imposter vision. It was a weird game though. Maybe they were just having some fun. But that same game Toast vented in front of everyone claiming to be Engineer, Rae as evil guesser died guessing him proving he wasn't engineer and he still gotta away with it. It did leave to the brilliant Lud + Toast Lawyer and Jester game though.
It's called "having conviction in your words" and also acting normal as if you are a little (but not a lot) confused by the testimony given. Also all the mind tricks and persuasion that Toast has, he is realy good
@@leonardocamilio1206 Funny thing is Toast really didn't sound very convincing at all, but I think a lot of the group is a little too comfortable taking Toast's word on things at times. I think if Ludwig just literally said what he saw (name poking through wall), he would have convinced them, but he crumbled from Toast's desperation play. Even more so if he pointed out that Toast's version that Ludwig vented out makes no sense given that Ludwig reported.

I mean he figured out his client was likely the Jester. Convincing the lobby to vote Toast out was how he could win. Toast figuring out Lud was likely his lawyer, and blatantly lying about venting, clued Lud into the fact Toast wanted him to call him out as the killer, not Engineer.
It was clever by both sides to figure out each other's role and make a convincing argument against each other, knowing Toast would seem more guilty.

Lawyer & Jester, one of the most riskiest yet destructive combos of the entire game. This combo may as well be the thing that you need to watch for as well because it can literally end the game in one round. If I were to name this combo I'd say "Court Jester" lol but the name could use more oomph.

One of my favorite games from you yet. It's nice to see it again with all the animations and music. I can understand why Rae guessed wrong. She knew Ludwig was her partner so from her perspective Toast could have been telling the truth. I wished they could have included that part in the video because everyone believed Toast to get Ludwig out.

0:40 honestly this was one of the lowest iq plays by ludwig lmao, accusing toast of being a killer does nothing besides make it a 50/50 between him and toast, and so they would eventually vote him out anyways. its much better to keep tabs and realize that toast is jackal so he can kill him later or put sus on him later as a scapegoat. by outing him at the very beginning he is essentially ruining the game for himself.

Toast can literally say anything, just a little louder, and everyone will just agree. He has been pulling it off for years. Half the lobby didnt even register what happened, even after Corpse broke it down and gave up. My mind was lost with Ludwig's.
Its kinda funny in retrospect, but at the time, i never wanted to watch these people play this again. Everyone's brains just turned off because Toast said "no you" and "don't worry i got this." Even after, nobody understood that he just gas lit the entire lobby.

It still surprises me how they REALLY trust toast on what he's saying (1st game in this video and plenty other games as imp) I mean he's also an amazing crewmate when it comes to delivering info so trusting toast is kinda 50/50, but still tho they mostly trust toast's words. I saw the live play, so I can confirm this is what happened. They did totally know, Toast did declare it and Ludwig did know he helped Toast win.
