Gosh! That's an amazing idea! Moher held witg'h sock yarn. I gave so much super small leftover moher yarn too small to make anything big and useful. But for scrap socks? Loveit!
Your CSM video brought me to your channel. You did a great job and I love your personality. You can try the Finchley grafting method for the toes. I find it easier.
Check out the Tanemaki Scarf by Yucca if you're looking for something similar to the sophie shape but not garter. The length is adjustable; smallest repeat is about the size of the sophie. Fingering or DK weight. I have been cranking them out this winter. It's a great pattern.
Yesss, I've been waiting for you to post a video about your csm after seeing it on your insta. Would love to see some project vlog/process videos using it!
ok but can i just say how you layered the scarves at the beginning was lowkey a look!! can i ask where you got your button down from? it looks so great on you! 😍
Wow so many socks! :D You might like the Finchley Graft instead of the Kitchener! it has fewer steps to remember. Personally I wouldn't like the ridge from 3 needle bind off on the inside of a sock
Woah mock rib? I need to research this for hand knitting because I hate purling on socks for some reason… if I could achieve the look without purling 🤯 Thanks for another great episode 😊
Would you recommend the model of Sentro you have? I’m looking for one but I mostly want to knit socks and/or fingering weight tanks with so I’m kind of confused which one to get 🤔
I also bought Victorian Housecats to knit. For Christmas I am going to knit a cat for my daughter's dorm room window. She lives in an old former convent in Montreal with huge french door-type windows and I think a cat would look wonderful 😊
I knitted Henry's Bunny for my bunny, is it time for Victorian cat for my mum's cat? Maybe after attacking Christmas tree and trying to eat the decorations she's on the naughty list, but I think she still deserves a tiny gift, she's just a baby (she's only 7 months old) 😂
Alternative to Kitchener stitch - Roxanne Richardson FINDLEY Graft (I haven't tried it, cuz Kitchener is burned into my brain and it feels a little bit magic to me) th-cam.com/video/h3sD_RU720c/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nC57wAEkPXw7-njf

“They can read a little….. *north korea*” IM LOSING IT
Turn the tube inside out and use the Finchley graft. Way easier than Kitchener.
they can read a little north korea 🤣🤣🤣

sophie scarf is VERY exciting
For the Patagonia zipper cardigan are you just going to do a self drafted pattern then?
Modifying the zip up cardigan pattern mostly, too lazy to do math 😂
