Helllo, want to buy atomic bent 110, i m 180 cm and 78 kg, want to use them for pretty much everythin, groomers, tight trees, off piste, powder, backcountry, hitting side kickers etc. Would you recommend 180 or 188 lenght on those?
I’m about 66 kg and 180cms and I prefer the 188, I find they ski pretty short because the mount point is more towards the center of the ski. The 180 would be real nimble for you but think they may feel a little small, especially if your used to 185ish cm length skis
Yo Sage! Cheers for the vid. Would you recommend this as a couloir/steep skiing ski or would it be a bit too soft? Do you feel like the tail give out on big hucks? This feels like a really fun ski but maybe the backland is better suited for big mountain? I'm 66kg (145 lbs) btw.
Yo Andreas! the Bent 110 in the longer version would do pretty well in those circumstances I would think. Its definitely more of a playfull ski overall, and less chargy, but if your landing square its pretty there for you . I think for your size its a pretty good match, That being said, the backland 117 is definatly more of a directional charging ski and is my top choice for most of the season. I ski the bent 110 early season, and in the spring, but prefer the 117 for more charge, the 107 is quite a bit different than the 117 and would go with the 110 bent over that.
It’s for sure worth it. If you like a playful, twin tipped rockers Ski, if you want to do Ski mountaineering or are looking for a ski with a flat tail, then you can look for something else. Just depends on the type of skiing you want to do or like to do
Sage, it'd be cool to see some more footage of you running these. I've been debating between these and moment wildcat 108. Both seem like awesome skis, wondering if you have any insights. Haven't found anyone in Tahoe demo'ing the 110, so I'm going off videos like yours to see how they ski.
I dont know anyting about the moment skis, and good call about seeing some action on them. I realized that Im skiing on the Bent110 in My episode of Let's take a lap!" with Lucas you may get some performance info watching that
@Sage CattabrigaAlosa that's so cool you reply, youre a legit pro skier and still have time for us! I've watched that video multiple times and you guys rip! Just saying, you really talk em up in your review and I wanna see more! Your content is easy and entertaining to watch plus it gets me stoked watching how pumped you get
I got a pair of moment Deathwishes this year. Have only skid them in Vermont and so far I've loved them. Heading out west tomorrow and really looking forward to using them in Tahoe.
@@Pyrolytic_Lifestyle if you're in the tahoe area, Moment has plenty of demos/touring demos out of their shop in Reno. I rock the Wildcat 108's and love them.
How durable is the 110? Ive seen older models around Jackson and they seem to hold up. Im looking to update my tele equipment this year and durability is a key factor. Im also curious if you know anyone who telemarks on these? Cheers
I’ve been pushing my 120s to the absolute limit almost every single weekend up whistler for the past 2 years. I’m honestly amazed at how well they’ve held up despite the beating they’ve taken/how light they are. Can’t comment on the 110 but considering it’s pretty much the 120 with 10mm less underfoot, I’m sure they hold up great as well
Hey Sage, so I just got the Bentchetler 100, to be an East coast all mountain ski. But from watching this video i realize the recommended mounting point is further back than the 110 and 120. It is at 7.8 cm behind center. Do you know if Chris has mentioned why this is? Of course i am probably going to mount them a couple of cm forward of recommended, but i am still wondering why there would be this difference between the 100 and the 110/120
@@simon.annies hey thanks for your reply. In the end I mounted them at +2 From recommended line, 5cm or so behind center. And i just got back from testing them at my local mountain’s opening day and they ripped, very pleased. Good at carving, but felt more easy to spin, pop, ski backwards etc
Why release the Sth2 16 MNC with transfer switch! Seems like ever year you guys are pushing something! This year the 110 with strive GW is the way your selling these light weight cheap skis. I call BS respectfully!
Light weight too light weight and cheap IMO next years skis will trend heavier I’m sure graphics are absolutely horrible or should I say art work! Colors are garbage too!
Love my Chets! Been skiing them since the beginning. 110s sound very intriguing.
try em out sometime if you get a chance!
I got mine +1 mounted and love it. Very playful
Nice work

Thanks a lot for the reply! :) I think I'll start out with the bent 110 and see how it goes. @@sagePerspective
Can I put pin bindings on it and use it for touring?
Well it works but my question is if it’s worth it or should I look for a different ski
Of course, I know people who’ve done that, you’ll have a nice light playful ski

I'm not Sage but I am pretty sure that the 100 also has less tail rocker and is all in all designed to be a more directional ski.

@@skiwithgenerationsnow yeah that sounds very reasonable. A friend of mine also has his mounted similar to that I think.
Have a fun season :)
100 is way more directional and dull than the 110/120
@@skiwithgenerationsnow Just saw this and wonder how you like them? With the 100 I went in the +3-4 range.
Was so set on the Bent 100 now you’ve got me thinking 110…….
there you go! you wont be disappointed
I would disagree with this is the best artwork. His roots where the best. The last 2 seasons the artwork is blah in comparison. But art is subjective.
