    I recently did a Black T-Shirt with a space scene with red white and blue tinting effects with an American Eagle flying over head. This shirt is for a person I know at work a repeat customer. Your tips and tricks are really helping me out. I created a system for myself so thankyou for teaching this beautiful craft, and happy painting. Is there anyway I can show you the work I have done so far?

    If I wanted to paint on a hoodie do I just paint my design using fabric paint and then iron over it once it's dry? There's nothing else like a varnish? I love your videos btw they are very informative !

      Yes just paint then iron :) varnish is necessary only for leather

    Thank you very much for your videos. You are a great artist! They are great and I'm learning a lot. I'm watching them as I found you yesterday night :-) I have a couple of questions I hope you can help me with (this post is old and I didn't watch all of your videos so maybe you already answer that, I'm sorry). First, the blue watercolor on the orange butterfly is lighter once finished, is it the same you were painting on the video tutorial or is it another one (just to know what to expect)? And do you paint over dry cotton or do you damp it a little with sprayed water first (I've heard somethin about it)? Thank you very much, I'd much appreciate if you could help me here. Love it!!!

    • @Dariacreative
      @Dariacreative  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I paint over a dry cotton. If you want to create watercolor background you can damp it a bit , but I prefer to mix paints with water to create such watercolor effect. And making such watercolor effect yes it will be darker in the process and then once it dry color will get lighter .

    If I use white fabric paint as a base coat then paint over that with acrylic paint will it be fine to wash as well? I like using acrylic better that’s what I usually use for clothes but it’s less durable

    • @Dariacreative
      @Dariacreative  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No it will be even worse because I do not recommend to mix different kinds of paints. If you want to use acrylics buy textile medium mix it with acrylics then use

      Some paints are liquid enough so you don't need to add extra water. But if paints are dry a bit or you feel that is hard to apply paint , then yes of course you can add water
