    Sir.,Great presentation as usual.,
    Can these electric handpieces can be used for bone removal during Surgical procedures without the direct use of coolant from the dental chair ?

      Thanks! Yes, since there is no air involved, you are greatly reducing chances of an air emphysema. I would use saline/coolant from the handpiece during any bone removal procedures.

      How about the noise of electric handpieces?

  • @len9518

    If there is chatter with air, it means the bur or turbine is eccentric or unbalsnced or worn. If these items are in good condition, there is no chatter. I had no issues with low torque, and my Lares mini head handpieces allowed me to get inot the smallest spaces.

      My experience is with W&H for the past few years, and they're pretty good. Haven't tried other brands.

    Sir, I love your presentation.. but I have a question to ask. What can be the problem if electric handpiece light is not coming ON and the handpiece is not spinning very well ?

    how to replace regular air rotor to electic handpiece? is it possible? or need to change all the tubing?

    • @dentalreviewguy
      @dentalreviewguy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You would have to buy a seperate device. Your air rotor won't be changed. I suggest you have both as small head sizes in electric motors are not easily available.

    Dentistry’s one of the biggest users of gas turbines outside aviation, so I wonder how much power and torque these engines put out. Has anyone ever put one on a dyno?

    Why are some air driven high speed dental Handpieces so loud and noisy?

    • @dentalreviewguy
      @dentalreviewguy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Because of the compressed air - electrics are a lot less noisy.

    • @len9518
      @len9518 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They are not nealry as loud as they were, years ago.
