It can also mean you are low on brake fluid . 😮 And the last car that backfired on me under accel burnt to the ground while I was in shopping at the grocery store 😢 I didn't even know till I was in the checkout line and I saw the fire trucks extinguishing my car. I walked by it and never said a word to anyone. I just walked my sad ass home, and i never looked back, lol
Front end is not correct. This car has the RS bumpers on it. But the parking lights are below the two bumpers. This is not correct. A round parking light should be above each bumper located between the grille and the headlight on both sides with the RS option. My guess is this car did not come with the RS option so it originally had the bumper that ran full width which is why the parking lights are below the bumpers and someone took off that bumper and put on the Rally Sport bumpers on each side.
Yes, this is not an RS. Where did they say it was an RS? Heaps of people do this mod. I see just as many with the bumper delete like this one as I do true rally sport camaros. If they were trying to sell it as an Rs, there would be reason for your comment, but they are not, so I don't see a point in your comment. Nothing is wrong. I guess you haven't seen many like this...
Nice car. No AC is a non starter for this Texas Hill Country boy. 😅 The oil and tranny look all wet. Looks like some new gaskets are on the list, if that’s all.
Greetings, I bought this car. So this is the deal if you're not mechanically inclined or know about electrical on these cars you need to stay away from this kind of stuff. These cars are for experienced people like myself who have no problem getting in there and doing the work myself. I live in Texas where it is 100° right. In a few days we're going to be hitting 105°. This is the only thing that prevents me from moving forward and finishing the job in a timely manner. So for those of you who do not have skills in repairing these car, stay away from these cars. I've got three more things to fix on this car after one week of massive repairs to the electrical. I have the skills to identify problems like these. I also spent a lot of time collecting little things to do these jobs. You must also have experience in wiring diagrams. Now that these things have been addressed. After I finish my wiring, I'm going to pull the motor because it has the wrong heads on there. This motor has low oil pressure and has a power when driving.
Just checked eBay, $190 and up for the rear bumper chromed. Guys paint bumpers cause it's way cheaper than getting it chromed but you can buy one. Camero parts are easy to get.
Nice looking car other than the paint imperfections. I would have painted the bumper black if it wasn’t chrome. And then put some black rims on it to match.
I hate to be that guy. My HS car was a 72 Camaro. She was painted Blk. So, one night, ripped out of my mind, remember it was the 70s and Drugs are bad M kay, I rolled her 4-and one-half times. When she stopped, she was wrapped around an oak tree. I managed to escape unharmed. The 350 had just been rebuilt so I had that, the front grill and valance one fender, trunk lid oh yea the hood only had a small scratch, and the rest of the drive train, also 2 out of 4 new Cragar's. With a lot of help from my Dad, and countless trips to junkyards we wound up with the nicest Camaro you ever saw. She was almost the same color silver but with a touch of charcoal and a little flake. A complete interior from a 76 TransAm including the steering wheel. Kickass tunes, Hugh 50s at the rear, the rear spoiler was glassed in smooth, the perfect rake. I could go on but this is becoming War and Peace. Leave it to say I miss my car! Sold it cheap to my POS exbro in-law. With first right to buy her back, Bastard traded her in on a new I-ROC... I have driven Fords ever since.
There are a lot of problems with this car, it looks like. Don't judge a book by its cover. They should put a magnet around the body to check for bondo and a paint thickness gauge.
For this old girl needs some love , but if you ride with the devil you will never see the bees knees, of what this car can be. So my brothers and I always say give me that love and I will take you all the way.
I don't like painted bumpers, but it looks good on this build. The car sounds awesome and looks good. It's not perfect but definitely a car you can drive and enjoy without worrying about messing it up.

Trans pan looked really wet, possibly rear seal
If the brake light is on it’s coming from the proportion value … you might not have back brakes … open a back bleeder see if you get fluid.

She's a beautiful ride. And it had ac from the factory so putting air back in it would be fairly inexpensive. She sounds beefy too.
