@@ajivins1 yeah that's the one, I've got 2 of the matchbox kits, built one but the tracks weren't very flexible and snapped so I used the tracks from a airfix stug 3
@@paulclow3398 I did the one when I was a kid but that was all. The worst tracks I came up against were on the Airfix Panther. They just weren't long enough! They were tight even when around the wheels without the back ones in place and I had to boil and stretch them, using staples under the fenders to hold them in place!
This kit was OOP for years. A friend of mine tracked one down in Australia, but he gladly paid the expense because the common knowledge of the day was that the mould was broken and the kit would never be produced again. Only a few weeks later did Revell announce they were reissuing the kit ...
Thanks for down loading. Brought back memories .
The Matchbox boxart and the way they show how the diorama would look like, much better than the Revell box.
I remember building that kit about 40 years ago. Still have it in the display cabinet.
Love the old gun tractors, great kit review!!
Cracking kits Matchbox.
Awesome!
Don’t forget the Valentine Archer which had the 17 per mounted facing backwards. Nice tank.
Perhaps Matchbox could've added some gunners for the 17pdr, Airfix made the same mistake with the 8,8cm & halftrack kit and other guns.
Ceasar miniaturs has two cracking sets with AA gun personnel and/or artillery personell in 1/72 scale
Most excellent.
Saw the Famo Half-Track one in a model shop, that was about £14.00
Got the revell boxing in TK Maxx for £3.99!
@andy morris Cardiff does or did, haven't been in for a while.
I love these old matchbox kits, always hoping revell will re-release the panzer mk 3 kit
@@paulclow3398 Was that the one on sand with a dead cow's head? had the original when I was a kid.

A beautiful kit, bit I would have gladly foregone the jeep for gun crew
Big fan of your videos. The SMLE is the No.1 mk 3. Would love a look around your RF army.
Airfix priced by series,Matchbox priced by colour.
Get your hands on a bottle of Solvaset and you be very happy.
