Hey it was me who told you about the proton ge 9.11 fix for strikers. Any chance of a quick vid of how it runs and if its worth installing as i havent got around to trying it as of yet Thanks :)
I'm relatively new to the Steam Deck, Humble Choice and PC gaming in general. Compared to buying games on PS5, Humble Choice provides insane value even when two of the games don't run on the deck. Even if you only play Station to Station, Jusant and Dome Keeper you are getting £22 worth of games for £9. And who knows, better support for Remnant 2 could come further down the line. There's loads of variety in games provided in Choice i think people expect to like everything in the bundle every month. Even on a not-so-amazing month it still remains the best value way to play games in my opinion.
I agree, the value of the Humble Choice Bundle is very good compared to the normal price of each game even when on sale, and it ends up being cheaper even if you only play half of the games. It's just unfortunate when the first one or two games don't work, as they are often the featured games that most users are interested in. Even though it is still a good deal, it ends up becoming a very underwhelming bundle compared to a typical month.
Maaaan, this video was exactly what I was looking for, thank you! Such a shame that Remnant 2 as that looks great. (Appreciate the humour in the video too … perhaps drinking a litre of vodka whilst playing Remnant 2 would help? 🤔😂)
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Oh man, drinking the litre of vodka might actually sync my reaction times up with the game! I'll try it out and let you know if it fixes it.
I wanted this for 2 games renment 2 and Persona 5 strikers, from what i have seen on other videos about renment 2 multiplayer seems most of the time at 30 fps with upscaling on steam deck
Shame to hear about Persona 5 strikers seems like a perfect game for the deck.
A Reddit user put me onto a fix. Proton GE 9-11 specifically works, while the latest version 9-15 doesn't.
@@DeckHeadGaming That's good to know, I'll give it a go. Thanks for the update :)
Just found this channel. Thanks for doing these videos. I have always wondered if Humble choice bundles are worth it.
Welcome to the channel. I'm glad the videos are helpful!

Thanks again for the tip! I'm hoping to put up a video on how it runs in the next day or two.
@@DeckHeadGaming Thanks ill keep an eye out for it on my feed.

I didn't even think to try upscaling it. I'll give it a go. Thanks for the tip!
@@DeckHeadGaming I think it was Intel Xsess on balanced mode
Omg I won something!
Congrats! Make sure to message me on Reddit so I can send you the key.
Not a great month for deck-only-players.
This was the first bundle in the last year that had unplayable games on Deck, which is pretty decent all things considered.
