The writing was really fun. I liked the logical game progression of "who is the killer" slowly shifting as they present new papers/writings to read through

pretty average game imo. the 5 of them could have easily taken him on instead of running and i found the characters lacking emotion. thanks for the upload, keep up the good work

Super Massive Games promised a massive finale, with improvements to writing, gameplay, graphics and everything else. They did not disappoint with this game. I'm always happy when everyone survives, although I feel so sorry for the gay couple, the Morello family, and then Joseph Morello and his remaining daughter that were all killed before/during the game. Goes to show Granthem Du'Met is not discriminatory with his victims, other than the number he summons out to his private island at one time.
Omgosh when you said finale im pretty sure my heart stopped- im pretty sure SMG isnt done with the dark pictures anthology though cause of the trailer shown at the end and the astronaut death scene thing in one of the anatomy pictures

How are we to know that we should give over the stupid screw driver to Kate, so she won't get crushed!?! Seriously!? Used to these games would give you clues to know what to do in order to save them all if you paired attention. Not in this one! I thought it was odd she's about to go use herself as bait yet she wants to hand over her screwdriver to Kate!?! What!? Of course players are going to make her keep her screwdriver in case she needs a weapon! But instead, the right answer is to give Kate the screwdriver anyways!? That makes no sense at all! These games used to make sense! You pay attention and watch the clues and in turn, that would help you make the right decision! Nope not now! The devs are just trying to trick you now! .. Really it's like, "oh, I'm about to use myself as bait but oh here, I've kept this screwdriver the entire time but now, out of the stupid blue, I want you to take it Kate! even though I'm about to use myself as bait! ". Of course players are going to think no keep it in case you need to stab the killer! But no, the right answer was to actually give it to Kate!?! What!?!?! In what reality does that even make sense!!?? These games really used to make sense! They were logical! Now they are just wacky not making sense.. Like how is anybody going to go, " oh, give the screw driver to Kate even though you're about to face the killer because Kate might be able to save herself from a wall that will smash her in the next scene! " how the heck were we suppose to know that!?! This game has been fun, but it makes no freaking sense. The other games they did made sense! You could follow the right clues and keep them all alive.. Nope, not in this one at all!! If you argue this then you're just trolling.
no, i don't know where u get that idea, but u can still save both of them even if the screwdriver is with jamie.
the system here is that
1. u have to make the wall go towards someone who u MADE to HOLD the screwdriver
2. hit all QTE (u lose the screwdriver if u have it with jamie and u dont hit the qte )
idk about you but it made perfect sense to think about how the screwdriver could help. thus, making the wall going to the person who has it. it's still logical.
the devs didn't just nilly nally made that decision and it irks me at how easily you shit at them for something that isn't even true. you couldve shit on them for the amount of glitches this game had and i would've agreed with you
@@reongg I've seen a lot of people saying that when they played, Jamie has the screwdriver and will automatically push the button and kill Kate, presumably because their relationship isn't high enough. That's a terrible design decision.
Jamie, Mark, Charlie, Erin and Kate escaped alive and they took with them a dog to adopt

So who is the killer?
Hector Munday, the former FBI agent. I was expecting the twist to be that the Holmes lookalike was a robot with human organs, but it's not explained particularly well how Munday was able to look exactly like Holmes.

2. Little Hope: Jeff as Priest, Charlie as older Antony, some kid (from the secret ending) as Megan, an reporter as Angela, I think Holmes looks like John
3. House of Ashes: police officer as Salim
