    Haha! The home of the legendary ‘Rave in the cave’. Some of us Cumbrians love the peace of the mountains, the solitude and poetry of Samuel Taylor Coleridge. Some of us also like banging acid techno and a party.
    Good times!

    Thanks to "Bee Here Now" for another great watch. Ollie, most videos feel like were watching a scripted documentary but with you it like were there with you as you speak with us through the camera. What a place to live, the country is so beautiful. Thanks for your time and effort...

    We used to do 'outdoor pursuits' with school at hodge close. Basically it was about 8 of us and a teacher, in old clothes with hard hats and lights exploring all the old mines, that was actually a double lesson! We would go to school early so we had more time. Alot of the mines have been filled in now though.

    wow, brilliant video as always, I like the amount of work you put in to find obscure places to visit, I don't know this part of the Lake District at all so can't wait to drive up there and check it out!

    Dorothea Quarry near Talysarn just the otherside of Carnarvon, is a really interesting place. Ive always wanted to explore but the diving sucks up the time. That would make an interesting vid.

    The scale of those cave mines is nuts, what a great journey! Looks like something out of a game!

    Or even Dinorwic Quarry - still full of machinery and remains. Even one shed which still has some old coats and boots left. Bit od a haul up to some of the best remains though, my knees almost gave out on the way down last time!

    Hi Ollie. We used to abseil from the top of Cathedral and Hodge Close. We used to land on the steel platform at Hodge Close. But a massive boulder fell down and twisted it it to what you see now. Brings back scary memories. Especially the zip wire over Hodge Close. Cheers Mick

    Bit of a tangent here. The cathedral reminded me of the last episode of a 70s kids tv series Changes, so off I went to find it. So thanks to you I got another great video and the a night of 70s nostalgia!

    This is a great clip. The bridge is my personal highlight. Worth to add it to my places to visit in case I travel UK hopefully again in the future.

    Happy New Year Ollie! That was a great way to begin another year of great videos. Couldn't help making all the mental references to Middle-Earth...not that I think you're a Hobbit, but I swear I saw Gollum in the background in one or two shots. Thanks for your usual enthusiasm, your channel is always a great way to spend a happy half hour.

    Nice video! We spend a lot of time up there in the spring and summer (better weather conditions for the kids). We’ve done a few of the high peaks, (Fairfield fell, St Sunday Crag & Harts Crag). We have a little family hiking channel, hoping to inspire other families to get out.

    Something just occurred to me - do you do request videos? There's one I would like if you do.

    • @BeeHereNowuk
      @BeeHereNowuk  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No I don't really do requests I just generally do whatever looks interesting. But I'm always open to a good suggestion and I've done a couple of places people have suggested so yeah let me know

    • @steveandthedogs
      @steveandthedogs 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BeeHereNowuk Sorry Ollie, didn't mean an actual request. I was just thinking of the old Oak Colliery, the tramway down to the Hollinwood Branch canal and the canal itself.
