The moment of truth has arrived... will the backup harvester do it's job? Let's just say it was good job Paul was on hand! John is in the thick of it stirring the pot and getting some magic shots of the two harvesters in one field. It's not all over yet, Alan still has to shift the other machine to the yard but at least the grass is in the pit! What's been your favourite moment of this season so far?
--AgLife | Farming Forever--
Paul is some man for keeping machines going
he's a hero
hopeful to see more of alan on farmflix and youtube🤞🏻
I'm sure Alan will pop up here and there ;)
Alan's silage is an emotional roller-coaster you couldn't script it 😂
man loves hardship lol
Best trilogy of Summer 2021. Don't be too hard on yourself Alan. Keep at it!!
he's some operator;)
Great video lads can’t wait for the next
You just topped my day off 🙂
Thanks Chief
Super video and good humour as usual. I was willing the machine to get to the end of the last row, cheering it on.
Great vid. Good to c the 2 2205s in the same field
be good to see them both working in the same field ;)
Good to see young clyde n auld clyde still fit. Keep the content coming boys. Loving farmflix.
Cheers Big shoe
Jaysus we didn't get that much hardship in the early 90s and we running bad gear... have to say that Paul chap had the patience of a Saint to stick with that yoke.
The magic wouldn't happen without Paul that's for sure :D
Need more of these on TH-cam lads. I know Clyde gets abuse but he deserves it all in good craic. Paul n aul boy Clyde some supporting cast on this sitcom
man is built for abuse :) some team
Necessity is the mother of keeping an old fleet running, good men Tom, Alan and Paul 🇬🇧🇬🇧🚜🚜 Bty watch a bit of Evenflow give you some ideas for music.
yes lad ;)
No matter what happens Alan always keep going take care looking forward to lots of more shenanigans to come 🚜🇮🇪🔨
yes lad, cant keep a good man down
Old is gold 👌
Great video lads
Thanks Kieran
I remember us taking 3 days to put in 20 acres with a tarup double chop on a Ford 76 with two Massey tractors, a 165 and a 590 both 2wd with home made trailers . Heavy damp crop and multiple stuffs. Like pulling teeth. At least the matbro 250 had time to get it well rolled.
I feel your pain guys, lol. Sure it's all about the craic. You'd have to edit out all the beer though, sure It would drive ya to drink. This trilogy has been the best fun I've enjoyed on farmflix in ages. I hope poor Alan has got his head settled since . 10/12 weeks till the madness begins again 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
hard to beat but creates good memory's and good craic. Alan has survived lol scary how quick time goes
Absolutely. Those days are getting scarce. Great memories.
I hope John you are really good to Alan. Us farmers need all the help we can get. Especially with a full time job
we do what we can ;)
@@farmflix 👌👌
Tom is some legend of a man
he is indeed :)
Excellent 👌
thanks Kristian
That was a great video and Alan needed a beer. 🍺🍻🥂🍾😎👌🏻👍🚜😭😤😲
cheers Anthony
Alan’s a special breed but his farm is no exception from many others with breakdowns, issues and stupidly high bills!
Glad he can stay calm and keep his cool to “just get it sorted”. Never an easy task. Enjoying the context Farm Flix crew
lot of people in the same boat. Just keeping it real
@@farmflix that’s what brings you guys out on top level productions.
My da always gets excited when he sees a 2205 he used to drive one when he was at the contracting with his brother, dunno if Allen's two would be a great reminder of them though
lol gotta love it
Me heart jumped at 31:52 Holy hell
Aye slipped that one in there to see if anyone would notice... 2 seconds of complacency when you're rushing could end badly!
the face of alan when john mentioned smoke 😂
he wasn't a happy camper lol
We ran a 1905 and a 2305 up to about 5 years ago absolutely broke our hearts we still have the 2305 and a 1895 but we bought a 6950 john deere and it was the best decision we ever made haven't had hardly a days trouble since 😎
Will have to see if we can persuade Alan a JD is the future!
Sat here at midnight waiting for a cow to calve, what better way to spend my time than watching you boys!
Cheers JM, hoping to make a visit very soon ;)
There’s a good shot of 2205s owned in west cork
yes yes
Think Alan just needs a hug 😂
lol poor Alan
Good man Tom 🤣🤣
he's a legend
@@farmflix 100% , is on the Pull going ahead this year
Some job ☺️
glad you enjoyed David :)
We need another race between the 78 and the 2 ts
i'm sure there will be at some stage :)
Alan: "I'm going to quit farming and become a yoga instructor" ---- Has to be the best quote to date!
Few classic one liners outta Alan and Tom from time to time ;)
I'm amazed the tsa can handle that big trailer 🤣
And dose anyone know what the song is called at 19 minutes?
lol us too. oh would need to ask the boy who edited it
Coming from south carolina originally from monaghan.. Your wild men!!!Love it..Keep her country boys
cheers Emmet, Always
Where are ye making the silage pit. Is that an out farm. I dont remember seeing it before. In the trilogy iv seen ye making 3 different pits. ??
aye thats his outfarm
Can’t workout if that was farming or scrap heap challenge! 🙂
sure you know yourself lol
Go on the new Holland some harvester if make ya feel better about wire in mower I got greedy and picked up full roll took 6 hours to clear it 😂😂😂😂
oh no that would be pure torture lol
@@farmflix needed counciling 😂
What size tyres are on redrock
not big enough;)
I definitely f*** up not becoming a member to farm flix. Cracking edit.
Easy fix next time around Tom ;)
Mighty stuff men.you couldn't make it up from jp.
The Fat lady took her time singing. Alan, Paul and Tom thanks a mill fir the silage sitcom absolutely great TV. Thank you FarmFlix . Some craic.
Bit of a siege this year Sean and plenty of craic none the less
get in the silage contractors but cool to see the old school
yes lad but we'd miss the craic
@@farmflix get the other Paul down with his fleet of yokes. There'd be some craic then.
What does Paul do for a job.
oh Paul does all sorts
Taking bookings yet Alan? Few hundred acres here for you to chop.
lol be some craic if Alan took up the contracting
If she failed that last row again youd just get the merlo and buckrake to throw it in trailer 🤣
oh yes
3 JF 1450 single chops
that might really put his head away lol
Evening fellas
What celebrities will we have today
you mean hallions lol
@@farmflix whens Johnny Neil
Fair play to Alan he has some pair of feet on him to stick wellies in the heat of summer they must be made of though stuff 😁😁 . If Alan was changing from New Holland would he go down krone route 🤔😋
wild man for the wellies lol . haha i don't know
Like Fred Karno's circus. Is this for real or set up for the camera?
mr Clyde is 100% real :)
Why most the contractors keep them within warranty 🤣
could be hard to finance a new one lol
@@farmflix the old yokes make better watching 🤣, if it all went smoothly, raised in a day wouldn't be as much stuff filmed 🤣
We have a 2405 a 2305 and a 2205
proper job
😂😂😂😂
gotta love it
7810😂.
Would Alan not be better off with a trailed harvester and hire Johns tractor for the couple of days. Thats hard on the head that there
Oul JF would be a tortoise beside the big 2205 when she's on form Kitbuilder!
SIR
New harvester needed I think horse🤦♂️
what should he go for?
@@farmflix John Deere harvester I think lad
Tell him to buy a john deere silage harvester. And he would get all the silage in in one go.
yes lad but he might stand some convincing
For every 1000 likes John will hide a stone in a swath for Clyde's Silage 2022 🤣🤣🤣🤣
oh now that's an idea but maybe a bit too far :P
Where is the big 78 john boy
On another gig ;)
alan go buy a wagon
He has been chatting that would be the job but the £5k budget would probably just create another headache
Would it not be more cost effective to get rid of all that old shite and with the government sub he gets buy some decent kit that will go for more than a day without a major breakdown. I'd just about think he'd spend less on finance in a year than what he spends on breakdowns not to mention the down time he would save by having reliable kit.
hard to justify new kit for the acres
That's a joke of a way to be doing silage.
I love these….. best TH-cam farm there is.
Walkers, mn millennial ect don’t hold a candle to cydes farm.
I’d love to come pitch in for a few days.
Probably be over in the summer to visit in-laws Craigavon. 😎 any reason to be else where
Cheers SGF
