Understanding the Pakistan Puzzle in Light of Big History | Syed Sardar Ali

  • For 190 thousand years human life depended upon the bounties of nature. Agriculture, the imitation of nature by humans, evolved for five millenniums before it could sustain complex societies. In the resulting archetype of industrial civilization, society forms the base that drives production - a reversal of the causal relationship between society and production.
In this session of “Bazm-e-Tareekh-O-Adab”, Syed Sardar Ali will talk about his general theory of production, society and civilization and link it with Pakistan puzzle in light of big history.
    About the Speaker:
Syed Sardar Ali did his F.Sc. from Govt. College Lahore and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He earned his first master’s degree in International Relations from Japan and worked for Sony Corporation and the Industrial Bank of Japan in Tokyo. He later earned Master in Public Administration (MPA) from Harvard where he was a student of Prof. Samuel Huntington. Upon graduation he joined the World Bank in Washington, DC and worked in the Financial and Private Sector Unit in the Europe and Central Asia region until 2002. Sardar Ali, who runs a number of businesses in Islamabad and Lahore, is the Chairperson of Crescent Foundation.

I want to ask one question to the speaker. If Hindus and Muslims can't live together due to different names, cultures etc. Then why on the first opportunity Muslims run towards the US, UK etc western countries? Why don't you go to Arab, Afghanistan, African countries where name, religion and ideas like ser tan se juda etc match perfectly?

Majority of that 1000 years was under some sort of Muslim rule or as Muslim warriors for kings. Then British came and conquered much of the land. When the turn of Hindu dominated majoritarian rule was looming in the 1940s, Muslims chose to live in a separate country. Because they were fearful of living with Hindus.

Agree with the speaker in all things. Specially, on the materialist fundamentals that birthed the modern world.
There is another realization. I had been a critique of the BJP & RSS earlier, and even with the economic development have been sceptical of them. I have also tried to argue against the 2-Nation Theory for all my life. But the clarity of the speaker on the question of Two Nation Theory has slapped me into senses.
I had never tried to imagine myself has a Non-muslim in Pakistan. I paused the video and spent a week researching that.
Now I am clear why we are fundamentally different people. Now I expect the BJP, any democratic party or any other Indian Institution to treat the Muslim of India at par with the Non-muslim in Pakistan. A civilizational hostile alien who does not resemble my people in any way, and someone who will surely inflict wanton harm on my people in the future.
I am honestly going to imbibe all I learnt from this video into every Hindu I manage to find, specially children. This civilization needs a hard reset for a paradigm change, at the conceptual, technological and societal level.
    Thank you.

Good talk. And the speaker proved one thing right. Muslim and fundamentalism are same and one thing. As per speaker Hindus and Muslims have different names, cultures etc so can't live together. And hence indirectly supporting the elimination, forced conversions etc of minorities in Pakistan because Hindu and Muslim can't live together so one has to be eliminated from Pakistan and that one is minorities.
If scientific education can't open the mind of rational muslim and he still belive that Muslim and non muslims can't live together.

In this talk, this can be noticed that the levels of inferiority complex and identity crisis are so high in Pakistanis, that-
    1) if there is something good and it is related to Indian subcontinent, when there was no Pakistan or Islam in Indian subcontinent, everything had to do with Kafirs ( hinuds, Buddhists, jains, etc) , Pakistanis start aligning themselves with their ancestors ( obviously without mentioning it )and take pride in it..
BUT if it is about criticising, they (including speaker) will present it as if Pakistanis or Pakistani Muslims have nothing to do with it and Hindus are responsible for it. As in this video at 1: 12: 36 when it was about Wheat and indigenous crops of Indian subcontinent, the speaker says " here we ...... ".... and avoid mentioning Indian / Hindu word.
    2) if it is something good about Arabs ( pre and post Islamic) they start aligning themselves with the Arabs...
This is Bcoz Pakistanis have nothing of their own...

Why do you guys including the speaker hate everything native, including your real ancestors who were natives?
Answers need to be found by you - wise get the answers by seeing what happened to others like natives of Arabia, Persia, Missepotemia, Egypt and Europe, fools like subcontinental MohMaddens will get to answers hard way - but let me try to give the answer in English words
Any article written in a newspaper or public speech need to define the loaded words it uses multiple times. So let me start defining certain terms whom you guys usemany times:
ReLigion is basically a legion/gang specifically created to grab REgal political power to enslave, rob, rape and if necessary genocide natives. Romans created first Religion called Christianity by inventing last male prophet of West Asian male God after hijacking native Jewish Theology to create enslaving evil empire for marauder Roman king. That's why so called Christian Bible is mere copy of Jewish Bible/Torah. Arabs after seeing the Roman success in creating evil empire in mere 200 years copied Romans and created Christianity 2.0 called Islam. That's why Islam of Ummaids is not much different from Christianity. When the elites of Islam moved center of power to further south to present Macca and Madina to protect from Romans & Persian, they needed to adopt the daily six times Sandhya like Kriya and call it NaMaz. The natives of Macca & Madina were Dharmic Sanatani. That's why there were idols of 360 deities (not same as God, God word has Germanic root).
These two gangs destroyed natives of 4 continents and wounded severely the fifth, Asia. Chinese have recovered by using the last gang with last prophet Marx, his slave manual book, Das Capita and polit bureau honchos like Mao and today's Xi. This last legion is as much evil as earlier two. It also cuts roots of natives and makes them rootless parasites. After killing Islam & Christianity using Marxism, Chinese made tremendous economic progress and are now growing their native Dharmic roots of Tao, Shinto, Boudh & even Sanatan (Yog & Dhyana). Today's China is Marxist for name sake only.
Bharat has started healing its roots since 2014. Soon Bharat will outpace China in all fields. Marxism is utterly materialistic and devoid of spirituality.
Christians, Muslims and Marxists hate everything native including their own ancestors, their culture, language and achievements. Such rootless parasites can't form a nation. No wonder almost all Pakistanis can't understand their national anthem since it is written in foreign language called Farsi. Pakistanis revere those barbarians who looted, raped and traded their ancestors as slaves. That's why they get leaders like British Londoner Jinah, Nawaz Sharif, Imran Khan and Benezir Bhutto with mansions in England, Dubai and Malbar Hill. They are pigmies with no vision compared to Modi, Yogi and Annamalai.
Hope stayed with me so far and not left half way. Bottom line - Dharma is native. ReLigion is foreign enslaving evil construct.

Less than 1% of South Asian Muslims have foreign (Turki, Central Asian, Irani, Arabi) DNA and even that is very mixed and the foreign DNA might be very little. But the mindset that claims Arab history of Spain as their own and none of the pre-Islamic history of the South Asia seems to have led the identity crisis. Indonesians don't seem to have that problem. I think if the whole of South Asia had become Muslim, then maybe the South Asian Muslims might have claimed Hindus as their ancestors but looking at this gentlemen and having talked to some Bangladeshis (who suffer from similar identity crisis), I seriously doubt it.

I find there are two types of intellectuals in Pakistan.. one followers of religious ideology blindly and second only follow western philosophy blindly.. they both are not open to someone making mistakes.. in all speech of the speaker I didn't found single original idea.. the way he laugh at questions of people that is something not appropriate at all..

The speaker is the typical type of Pakistani who always mislead the audiance.
He not even once discussed the Indian civilization. Skipped the very basic problem.
