I only play CDDA and have 2500 hours or so, and my biggest tip is.... just kill stuff :P i see alot of players just rushing to get sustained and isolated and i play the opposite. If i dont use guns i usally end up around 5-7k kills by the 3month mark. And dont sleep on hunting knifes, you can kill all day every day without getting exhausted, and later you get back knifes as you use them. so satisfying when you start 2-3 hitting zombies. What i do at the start is head to the farmhouse up north like you did, if i find a book and/or something to help me sleep i might spend the night, then i go to the east of muldraugh to the abandoned "meth lab?" in the woods, then to the trailer parks up north from there and search for food/can opener ect and use the meth lab as a base and use it until i have cleared both trailer parks and the train station to the south. After that what ever i feel like, clearing muldraugh and go to the bookstore/vhs store, or go to Ekron or Riverside and clear that city ect

I really am terrified of the towns 😅😅 my biggest issue is finding weapons that don't break after 5-6 zombie kills.
