I wish that I could tell Sister Wright that she was part of a tender mercy this morning. I opened my Gospel Library to read my scriptures this morning and this talk was open on my app with a quote highlighted like it was a daily quote. When I was halfway through, someone was at my door so my phone went to my Ring app. When I went back to the Gospel Library, it was on the home page. This talk wasn't on any of my tabs and it wasn't any of the daily quotes, it was just gone. I have no idea how it came to be open or why the highlighted quote was exactly what I needed today, but it was what I needed.

I love how Amy Write mentions Israel's Mt Carmel, “The evergreen mountain” and later quoted Jeremiah: “Thus saith the Lord; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the Lord; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border.” - Jeremiah 31:16-17
I think it’s so cool that she mentioned Israel and then quoted these verses that would, only 7 days later, essentially become my prayer and the prayer of millions of Jews and Christians around the world to bring the kidnapped prisoners back home from Gaza. I pray her words are prophetically fulfilled, and the God of Israel will miraculously bring the children of Israel back home.
