Hi Thank you so much. We changed the battery on our existing fob but that didn't fix the issue. We were using the key for the last few years. This video fixed it. Fob is now working. This worked for our 2005 Nissan Pulsar N16
I never comment on videos but honestly this was so simple and helpful I really appreciate it especially since when I bought the thing from advanced auto parts the guy was literally zero help didn’t even try
Hello PYR Automotive, will this work on 2012 Nissan sentra GX? Also, what remote should I buy? I've seen a lot of cloning remote online but I'm not sure which is the right one. Can you please recommend? Thanks a lot man.
Tried this but my doors unlock everytime i remove the key from the ignition. I notice in your video your doors stayed locked. Is there something i can do to keep my doors locked when removing the key from the ignition?
Have a 2019 Sentra S and my wonderful dealership only gave me a standard key. Tried to program an OEM remote using this method but it doesn’t seem to work. The first time you put the key in and pull it out it unlocks the car. The hazard lights did flash on the 6th or 7th try but remote wouldn’t connect.
It worked! Batteries were in wrong. Lol. Programmed two remotes and they work great. Just gotta get the keys cut and I got two spares at a fraction of the cost a dealership would gouge me for. Awesome! Thanks for the video!! For those with a 2019 Sentra, the door will unlock on the first time you put the key in, just keep following the instructions.
So it doesn’t work for a Nissan Sentra 2015 my mom says my car doesn’t have an alarm and I don’t have a push start it didn’t work idk if I’m doing it wrong or what please lemme know !
at 1:30 the key you show is my key type, but its not working, are you holding down the button in the end of the programming on the fob or just pressing and releasing? my next step is get a locksmith..
Just pressing and releasing any button one time. If you are getting the vehicle into programming mode but it won't respond to the remote - there could be an issue with the remote you are using. There are a few different remotes that look exactly like the one in the video but they are not all interchangeable.
When I put my key in 6 times my hazard light don’t flash do I need too have the fob first because I haven’t bought yet just wanted too see if it will work?

Hey I hope this gets to you in time, I’ve lost completely both the key and the fob which would lock and unlock The car from far, do I get a key made and buy the fob and program it?
If you have lost all the keys for the vehicle, you will need an automotive locksmith or dealership to make you a key. Once you have the key you can purchase and program the fobs.

If I program my key fob like this, is there any way to program the transponder chip in the key to the car as well or do I have to go to a locksmith for that.
Question Will I have to get my key programmed as well ? I have a 2010 sentra, I lost my original key fob, I just got a new one. I usually don't use my key to start my car, as long as my fob is inside I can start it.
I was told by Nissan South here in Atlanta Georgia that I would need to bring it to the dealership. But that was just by way of a phone call. Hi! Ok Im an older lady that knows nothing about cars. I bought a key fob for a 2019 nissan. It's actually just like the second one you show in this video. And your key is not cut either. But I can't tell if that's the one you are using in the video. And there were no instructions, just said to call the dealership or lock smith. Well they wanted alot of money. I saw your video and it was for my car. So I went and stuck the key in and did what you said and it started flashing. I was so excited. But it wouldn't turn the key to accessories. Ok I told you I don't know much so dont laugh. 😂 does the key have to be cut out to go to just accessories? If so I guess I will have to get the lock smith right? Appreciate you.

What is the year of your Sentra?
@@PYR-Auto I have the same problem on a 2011 Sentra. As soon as you pul the key out the first time it unlocks the door unlike your video. Any help will be appreciated
Did you try just continuing with the procedure? If not, try to just keep inserting and removing the key until the hazards flash
I don't know why. But my door used to unlock after I took my key out of the ignition. Now it don't. I tried doing this. But it still is the same.
My door unlock first time trying, why is that?
Thank you for your video saving me

My car didn’t work dashboard flashed instead of hazards
Worked perfectly 👌 👏 🙌
Great!!
Not working for me on my Nissan Sentra 2002
So are there instructions for a Nissan Sentra 2014 with an intelligent key? Or would I have to have a locksmith program it?
Unfortunately you will need a locksmith or dealership with the smart keys. You can find a locksmith in your area here www.LocateALocksmith.com/directory/
Followed the procedure but when I get the key out for the six time my doors unlock and my hazards don't flash
Did you get it to work cause I'm having the same issue
@@Shadowless702 I did not. Ended up installing aftermarket alarm system
You are just awesome 👏
i got it to lock and unlock my car doors but it doesn’t unlock my trunk
Sounds like a bad button on the remote or an issue with the trunk release on the car itself.
Nice Job 👍 take care
Thanks 👍
Thank you so much!! it worked!!!
You're welcome!
