Finally some one that knows how to diagnose. Coming from a master auto tech with 30 yrs experience. I don't usually compliment much. But in your case you show exactly how and with proper diagnostic tool. No bullshit. In Romanian they say "fara magarii"
Dealer : that will be $2,500$ sir! Diagnose problem Tear down equipment Test it Put it back together. And then they say they need to do more tests to make sure the test they did was accurate.
I stuck with full def in tank and "service def, 5 mph" on dash . Can t move more then 5 mph. Def fluid gauge didn t move from full and the tanks it s actually full after 4-5 h drive . I don t know how to test the pump without the computer activation and all those tools . Is ther any pins I can conect with the battery to have the pump "on" (doser injector is new and I do get 12.7 ohm at the proms ) . Should I just rove the line from dozer injector and see if I'm getting any on the ground ?
Could you share your shop address to bring my semi 2016 Volvo with excessive Regen? The new DPF filter was replaced about 6 months ago. And the DEF parked regen is required every other day. I also replaced the new DPF differential pressure sensor. That did not help either. My soot level rose up every other day.
My truck 2015 D13 not use def , Looks like tank always full , it’s pump failed or something else , I’m still hearing a humming after shut truck off . Thank you
