Looks like he's blending skim with surfing,very cool.Sometimes I do a similar thing days before the real surf session,without the board though.I just go get hammered in the shorebreak.Some bodysurfing,do some struggling against the waves,running around.There's nothing wrong with it.It looks stupid as hell,seeing a grown man frolicking in the surf.But nobody's got shit to say when I'm walking back up to the break after catching a good wave.Then the tourists start asking how I stay in shape.Huh?

that doesn't look too smart. My cousin died in small shorebreak, and my best friend broke his spine (but no neurological deficit) in small shore break. As a physician I don't think dorking around in the shore break is a great idea. in fact his shoulder is looking a little bit injured at the end there.

The One is a sick board, but we're getting pretty good at paddling in on skimboards too which can make for a lot of fun!
