Proper racing. Thanks so much. I'm watching the IFMAR ISTC - 1/10th Electric Worlds - Saturday - Finals Day 17 9 22 and it's sprinkling so it was called off. 😿'ies the lot of them, but it is 2022 after all...
@toupikh. FYI. They do have tired that are threaded that work really well. I happened to have them on in the middle of a race when it suddenly opened up and I was the only one with grip. And if you think I'm BSing I'm not.
This reminds me when I raced a 250cc Rotex supercart class. We would race in the wet! Try being seated 1" off the ground @100mph running groved wet/rain sticker tires, sending up a 15 ft rooster tail, man i miss it, but @ 55yrs old, i just like to watch and race my rc's.....
@daddydcustoms amen to that. i was just thinking to myself, with the way we are stateside would we ever race in the rain? i think it would be alot of fun!
i'm curious about how many had to change their receivers/servo after this mess... quite a stupid idea ??!! and at this scale the tires don't work the same as real ones to evacuate water
Bally46 yeah, there won't be any wet racing. It's just not something we do. In England if they don't race in the rain, they don't race. Here, we always have dry weather around the corner
In the Cotswolds, this weather is actually pretty unusual for June. We get loads of nice weather in an average Summer, so should have been postponed a week.
Holy cow, that was a nightmare - not just for the drivers but also for the turn marshalls!
wow you guys in the uk are really into this hobby. nice work guys.

Wow! I've never seen this. Looks like it takes a lot of skill and practice. Unreal.
In tracks like this is used some type of grip compound? Ask because sugar or VHT make the tracks very slippery in wet
wet track is the greatest evarrrrrrr takes an already exciting event and turns it on its head

I used to race karts too 100cc
Now thats a really cool intro!!!
Keep up the good work, even in the rain :)
anyone see that awesome tandem spin at 13:51
very best rc video i ever seen
how do they keep the electronics dry from all the rain :D
Conor Reilly receiver boards are sprayed with conformal coat. Some spray servos and receivers with plasti-dip. Use dialectic grease on the connectors.
Thanks for this upload!!! Awesome.

How this track with rain has so much grip?
this is sick.
i'd love to bring my cen ct5 to this track
racing in the wet is always awesome.
they dont normaly get to hot, top drivers seal them im boxes so the air in there will keep them cool enough for 5 mins
good commentator, nice cars
Real RACING!!!!
Wooo....good

cant even get my cars to get the power down that good on dry pavement
68.4 subs...
great race though :)
Hate racing in the rain 🙄😤 but great racing anyway 👍🏎️🏁🏆😀
In America we just postpone the race and try again the next week.
DJPF1011 even for a national event?

A punto para la competencia ya llega el importado
Rain. The great equalizer.
@andyveccyv6 And the heat? Never tought about that?
lol they halted the tournament based on health and safety grounds "those conditions are too treacherous for the hamsters"
Just postpone it a week. Jesus
DJPF1011 yeah so everyone whos booked time off work for the nationals suddently gets the goal posts moved. you're a born organiser
I enjoy R/C, but it's kind of funny how serious they make this..
