I finally got a ukulele. Its a penguin model. For whatever reason, I wanted to learn this song to play for someone I love... I have been working on it for a few weeks, this song only. I've tried gutiar... and not very good at it. Ukulele was easy and beautiful to play. Thanks to Eddie Vedder for getting me hyped and you guys for teaching me. Still a work in progress for sure.

Thanks for thd breakdown, really useful. I'd have found it helpful to see the notes that were coming though so I'd be able to mentally prepare myself. This is only my third track though so maybe that's just me...
Amazing teaching, pace and visuals. During the playalong I got left behind...just couldn't respond fast enough as couldnt predict chord changes. Is there a way to have all the white chord boxes for the verse and then the chorus displayed at once on screen?
Hi thank you for all these great tutorial videos. I know you always use your index for your down strum and thumb for the up strum, but is it bad if I use my thumb for the down strum and my index for the up strum? I don't like using my nails for strumming as it doesn't seem to sound as good as using my fleshy sides of my fingers.

I am a 68 year old grandma and my fingers don't bend at the first knuckle the way I would like them to but I keep on keeping on. My husband wants to get me a tenor uke for Christmas. I love yours, the tone is wonderful. Thank you for the wonderful instruction you provide. BTW, I would love a hoodie in pink or another girly color ;)

Best ukulele tutorial for this song by far! But I found one hiccup 11:48 the chord should be Em not Dm you play Em but Dm pops up on the right!
