What a great idea to use wallpaper to make cards!!! I love repurposing and upcycling. Going back to basics sounds like a fun idea. For me, as I'm upacking, I realize that I have more stuff than I will ever use and need to start using what I have instead of buying more. That is my goal for 2025 (was also a goal a few years ago....LOL). Wish me luck 😂 Oh such gorgeous papers in that wallpaper book!!! Your husband is correct.....no one will notice. There are times I stamp and it doesn't stamp right, so I stamp on other piece of cardstock and glue it over. So yes, if they tear the card apart they will see that, but they won't. The same thing when I cut the center out of the of the cardstock that I'm layering under other papers because no one will see it. But there are other things we worry about that we might feel is a flaw, but honestly the recipient won't notice. Besides, I always say.....it's the imperfections that make it perfect 😊 I love that card fold and I love how your card turned out.....so beautiful! 💗 Hugs....Janie
Hi Janie! Thanks again for your informative TH-cam channel and FB group. One of my resolutions is to create more and, like you, use what I have rather than purchase a lot. I have a few beautiful cigar boxes that I plan to re-purpose as stationery boxes. If I am successful, I will post them in your FB Group! Happy New Year!
