aprilia: hehe engine go brrrrrr
Mamaaaa the dyno girl 😍😍
Somebody tell us her @👀
With more surgery is possible ?
Pretty sweet dyno. The camera man is missing the graph and is too focused on the guy
I know it is different but around the same price, KTM 890DUKE R v APRILIA RS660. which one?
Rs
Ktm ,better suspension,more torque
@@igorholizna3321 it's a naked of course he had more torque,
Aprilia better aerodynamics
Better electronics
Suspension is not true tho
Better corner precision
@@robertofortunato6867 well ,almost all reviews from Japan ,Usa and Uk 44 teeth saying that suspension is only average on Rs 660 where KTM WP is very good.Rs660 its road bike with fairings so more torque is better.Regards electronic you do not need more then abs and tc on 100 bhp bike. There is also price factor .For £8k you can buy more reliable cbr 650r or for £9.5k.
@@igorholizna3321 the review doesn't respect the reality (in my opinion of course) i watch everytime the test they did with professional biker, and kayaba, wp, ohline everytime are the best (prolly the ohlins will win everytime), but this 3 are everytime on the top so the difference in my opinion is very not capable (for a common rider).
Cbr 650r is 95 hp bike with 207 kg and 4 cylinder, so for take the best of this bike you have to ride it really hard because for a 4 cylinder 95 hp are not that much (imo), but still a very good bike and i like it.
Btw eletronic is very important in a bike, 100 hp are not few in a two cylinder, abs is for "not experienced biker"
Anti weeling is for a better performance
The different map are very useful to handle the meto condition ecc...
About the torque yes it's true, but the torque has to be destribuited homogeneous, and the ktm has the wind problem too...
There is a lot of things to say but don't wanna write too much ahahah.
In conclusion take the bike you prefer, it's everytime the best choice.
Brilliant bit of kit, however it's 2k more than a brand new ZX-6R here and about the price of a 890 Duke R, I think the value was kinda lost here with our silly taxes
Chasing the racing intro?
Did you take any AFR readings? Trying to find out how lean it runs stock.
We'll have to get that information from MSS Performance, watch this space...
IDK if you're still interested but the bike runs very close to 14, some minor dips to below that but for the most part super consistent all the time.
Make it 120+ 😎
@Xigap *IDIOT* , the other day I was watching Yamaha Official's saying that they make R1 engines to produce over 258HP and R6 engine over 153HP.
So if built to its peak, this RS660 engine should probably make around 140HP on the crank or 132 on wheel. I just asked for a conservative figure of 120 on wheel. Which isn't impossible, but rather difficult.
@Xigap well, looks like you have difficulty understanding English brother.
I have already written that, if an Inline 4, 599CC R6 produced 153HP at Crank, then a Parallel Twin 659CC should atleast produce 140 at Crank, which in itself will translate into about 132HP at Wheel.
Now *"MINUS"* the HP gain due to value job and only taking into consideration the tuning, mapping and bolt on stuffs, it should at least produce 120HP if not 132.
NOW DON'T SAY THAT if Aprilia runs it as a factory bike in some race in future they won't be able to squeeze even that much power out of it.
Love it but wish it was a v4 660
While it would be awesome to see, the twin has so much potential in racing - we can't wait to see what MSS Performance do with it!
v4 660 it will be costa a couple thousands more
@@johnnyblaze1372 and Service would be much more too
We've seen several dynos, from different people, reaching 100+hp at the crank stock. Mine for example. Not sure if your results were at the crank or the wheel. Mine managed 92BHP (at the wheel)
No such thing as BHP at the wheels, horsepower measured at the wheel is WHP, horsepower measured at the flywheel is BHP
@@novakszabolcs4141 No. Bhp is BRAKE horse power and it's means that it takes into account the losses to friction (hence brake) and it's something available to check all over the internet, I wonder how you get upvoted three times for this. Power measured at the flywheel is often also described as measured at the clutch and it's what brands usually give out as the claimed power.
@@HormigaZ bhp is measured at the fly wheel of an engine that has an alternator a water pump and stuff like that on it , but they do not take the powertrain loss into consideration thats what whp is for

Thing sounds sick man!!
@@joshholtz7586 Buddy is that a 650 on ur pfp? Awesome!
@@ProfessorDashB sure is man
All very credible until he said the chassis could handle 150bhp lol.
you dont know nothing about the frame no?
