We love to see more positive news about Somalis shared like. The western media don't like it. Keep up a good work. Tanzania welcomes these kind of investors. We, Tanzanians love our Somali brothers and sisters. God bless Tanzania, God bless Africa.

Somalis are really smart and good entrepreneurs no doubt in my mind if this people haven’t been in civil war they would have accomplished so much but even now no regrets with lots of the youth waking up the future seems promising.

If you fight that does not mean you are not smart, smart means what you have on your head, action or your plan to do some progress. However Many countries had civil-war not only somalia, even African countries had and still continuen.Even our neighbors countries had civil-war, so don't judge something you know nothing about. You can`t imagine how Somalian people loves eachother, look how our society respects eachother. Efforts with bright future. This civil-war we ain`t happy with.

Same with a lot of young individuals in many parts of the world. It is about moving forward as people, cutting the greed, showing love, etc.. Hopefully we can learn from our mistakes as people and accomplish great things.

The Somalis in the diaspora (particularly in Europe & US) must invest their time gaining knowledge & education in sciences, IT, business & economics - then go back to African - the opportunites over there are limitless!

Stupid, Somalis aren't Indians in Kenya. They were here in colonial days without any impact. The British after using indians to build a railway allowed them to remain but without land the only thing they could do is to sell items to the Africans , the majority. They grew in business without alot of competition because the British kept the majority out of the mainstream economy for fear. Somali Kenyans never made any impact. The Fall of Somalia dictator and the civil war thereafter brought many Somalia refugees into Kenya who specifically settled at Eastleigh where there were many Kenyan ethnic Somalis. Kenya's stability and a big middle class gave a big customer base for these Somalians who set shop here. Kenyans need to take glory for supporting fellow human beings who their country failed due to hatred in a country where people speak one language and have only one Religion.

I live in a Somali apartment in Kenya but non of my neighbour even greets me nor share what they will cook outside their homes and they are just my next doors. They came to ask for water I gave them, and once they came to sell their business women clothes I bought twice. But when I asked them to bring their kids so that I teach them Art in my home, non of the neighbours supported me. They even celebrate weddings every time but they never invited me a single day. People told me that they can't support me unless I came from their background is this true?

i think Somalis are hard working people but there some culture elements which limits them like segregation. most don't intermingle with other societies just like Indians they are like fearing diversity ( very conservative people)

Well we're homogenous people so what do you expect. We dont really need to integrate with society as much as it's promoted. that's not important. As long as we can speak & understand the language, kind to our nueghbours & fellow Muslims & are hard working & succesful that's what counts.

What are you talking about? Did you know the history in Somalia? Okay, I will you tell you why we are sick of foreign people?
After the civil war started in 1991, things were already gotten so bad that so many people had to run away for their lives and over 500,000 people had died in civil war but it should be over 1 million died in total by now because of Al shabab and other wars like clans. A lot of good people who want peace, they decided to stay behind and fighting against Al shabab, most of them were men.
By the way, didn't you know the south of Somalia was colonized by Italy and the North of Somalia was colonized by Britain at the same time but in the late nineteenth century, Somalia was first colonized by Egypt, France and Portugal (you can google somali portuguese war) but soon after, it was Britain and Italy took over next.
Italy and Britain were once fought over who want to take over the entire country but eventually, they agreed to split the country. Ethiopia and Kenya wanted a bit of the land so Britsh and Italy handed it over to them just before the Somali people won the fight against Britain and Italy to take back the freedom in 1960.
I don't know why so many countries wanted my country so badly!?
After 1960, we had the peace and happiness so it has lasted until 1991, the civil war broke out after the government was overthrown by the militiamen out of nowhere, imagine how scary it must have been for the citizens people who wake up next day and the war had begun without a warning, (Little did they know that the war will last almost 30 years.)
CHECK OUT THE LINK: vintagesomalia.com AND www.sarajabril.com/ AND th-cam.com/video/IPmPBv7avws/w-d-xo.html to see how the country was like before the civil war in 1991.
We used to have the strongest army in Africa but after went through so many wars against so many countries who wanted my country. The army was finally falling apart after a civil war.
Here are the list of between 1960 to 1980 Somali National Army Parades:
      th-cam.com/video/BrtN2WULskY/w-d-xo.html AND
      th-cam.com/video/B_2zdkxN5gw/w-d-xo.html. AND
      th-cam.com/video/MXFv-GhgdjY/w-d-xo.html AND th-cam.com/video/COTE_0V2pH4/w-d-xo.html
IT BROKE MY HEART, MOST OF THE ARMY OF MEN AND WOMEN, MOST OF THEM HAD DIED FOUGHT FOR THE COUNTRY.
Al-shabab came after 2006 out of nowhere. so it is now a war against Al-shabab, Most of us want to have a peace but they won't let us, they would bomb anywhere and the people for no reason...it made us wonder if Al-shabab was brainwashed by someone aboard, who are not Somali who came into the civil war without anyone noticing because the people were busy fighting and then he started to brainwashed them to be suicide bombers because it wasnt like this before 1991. (It was a long story, you should do your own research!) The country used to be called "Greater Somalia" Google it to see the size of country, the map was different than it is now. We went through so much shit like you have no idea. We just want to be done with the war!!

    • @monsterrr1999
      @monsterrr1999 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Don't forget! Before they left Somalia, Britian and Italy handed over lands to Ethiopia and Kenya without asking for citizens approval since most of them rejected it. it was orginally Greater Somalia (it is including Ogaden (Ethiopia), Djibouti and NFD (Kenya) but they ruined everything so we unable to bring it back. You can google "Greater Somalia" map. Everything was gone. Somalia has the longest coastline in Africa, bordering both the Red Sea and Indian Ocean. The blue of the flag represents to colour of the ocean as it was an important feature in the history of Somalia and the five points of the star each represent the five Somali regions which is now divided because of the colonialists. (Ogaden, NFD , Djibouti , Northern Somalia, and Southern Somalia. WE COULD HAVE BUILD IT BY OURSELVES IF IT WASNT FOR THEM. WE CAN DO IT TOO IF YOUR COUNTRY DID TOO. NOBODY ASKED THEM TO COME. THEY WANT MY COUNTRY BECAUSE OF FAMOUS LONGEST COASTLINE IN AFRICA.

Are you kidding? Somalia are the most integrates people on the earth. We learn the language of any country we go to without or little accent. We are friendly and kind. We just don't sellout. We still hold on to our culture and true to out selves. I've seen my neighbour from Afghan came here with burqa and now in mini skirts act Italian. Thats not us. No Somali old Person would ever do that

The problem of somalis is we are too smart which sometimes is disadvantage specially when running country, you need ppl who follow take orders N ppl who lead, but we all want lead no followers,my analyse ofcourse.

    • @janeulo4388

Smart people will always follow orders because they know life is a hierarchy. Even white countries and Asians follow orders to the letter and that is why they are developed. Somalis love anarchy and lawlessness which means they are not smart

@@janeulo4388 live isnt a hierarchy. Israel was built up by anarchist socialist communities who worked together without any hierarchies.
But the state was hijacked by american capitalists after the groundwork had been made
