The courts in Africa work. Just that sometimes people are too poor to get information or go to courts but it’s possible with creating awareness around worker rights. Most of this is government failure and nothing else. Any investor will respect your laws if you enforced them and created severe penalties for mistreating workers.

Just yesterday the president said one of the factory investor took almost 4 years to get a permit from MAZINGIRA COMMISSION. He was asking himself why so, and he entervened it and after 5 days the permit was issued. Then you could ask yourself why it took 4 years. That is Redtape and Corruption.
