pure video me khul 1 min ka baat hi bataya... ki psu n iit ke alawa bhi bahut option h bus! ... but wo option aapne to bataya nhi... just singapore ki university h... but wo bahut expensive hai...aage ki info main deta hu... germany ki university hai jo gate me 90 percentile se uper hone se apply kar sakte h.. germany me tuition fee kam h to wo ek option h... kuch non psu company ke form nikalte h jo sirf valid gate score card pe hi apply kar sakte h... jaise 2017 ke score card pe delhi metro me apply kar sakte the.. or bhi kuch company h jo aisa karti h ..i do not remember the names... i just hv one advice ki continue preparing kyoki ye choti moti company me bhi job mil jayegi ...just exam ki notification dekhte raho ..n solve test series of those exam..

Subash Sahu thanks for update. ho sakta h..m not sure.. just wanted to put up the point ki companies hai jo just valid score card pe bhi chance deti h... also ms n phd courses are there jinke bare me yaha nhi bataya gaya h... and if some one is keen for research... then apply for gate next yr with 'XE' code... waha subjects kam h with maths compulsary n competition bhi kam hota h... 10k to 25k log hi appear hote h... but usse sirf research field me hi ja sakte h... psu n others jobs nhi milega.
brother german university me competition high hota h but it is not mandatory u have to secure 90 + there are lots of universities that accept 60 or 70 gate score but then ur acedmics should be good means 75 to 85.
Rashid Malik yes you are right... but jo GATE diye h unko competition se kya daar😂😂... waise if someone is planning mtech/ms abroad then its better get a job exp of a yr or so... it will be helpful..

So I looked for a job and studied for gate for a year.
I planned my day in such a way that I devote at least an hour for my studies.
I cleared gate in 2018 with All India rank - 54
I got master in city planning at IIT KHARAGPUR

Make a comprehensive list of syllabus and target each topic everyday
If the topic is theory related make sure you understand the concept well. Google the topic and check out TH-cam videos of the same. In exam the idea is check whether you have understood the topic and if you can apply the same in different conditions..
If the topic is numeric.... Create a list of formulas and solve as many questions as you can. Find related questions from question banks, previous papers and practice papers.
As long as you don't get deviated by this schedule.... You are good to go...

Hie Arnab... It is good to see that you are ready from first year.....you have enough time to prepare for gate.
You'll have to sacrifice some fun stuff and find some quality time for studies atleast 1 hour a day.
Believe me the joy of success is nothing compared to small hangouts or movies or anything.
Get the syllabus and strategically concentrate on each topic per day. There are many TH-cam channels providing great data. I would suggest visit all the channels and make your own notes.
No one can make better notes for you other than yourself.
To keep yourself on track as someone to constantly remind you to study for an hour. Best bet are parents.

I have qualified Gate exam three times(2016,2017,2018) in Mechanical stream with above 95 percentile, but no private companies given a chance in which I have applied by nokri or shine.com.
So private job is only a linked and reffernce based job only.

Hahahaha so much study still you will be under some guy who haven’t prepared for one day for any entrance exam lol
If you take admission in some private college which is AICTE approved, you will get stipend. But after one year when you score better in GATE and wish to go some IIT or NIT then you cannot get stipend there in IIT/NIT until you return your stipend taken while in private college. Because MHRD gives stipend only for two year for M.Tech.

seriously i mean why any1 will take admission in pvt clg.?their fees nd all ...u have to give time for mtech also...u will only get 12k approx......so its no way any1 should not thnkk of it..................
I suggest if you have low score but qualified gate you should join mtech in some low fees colleges so that u get 12500 per month stipend and can prepare for next year or do something else, means u ll get two year more tym to manage things. Reply ur queries

@@rambabupatidar7261 actually you have to submit an affidavit saying you will complete full 2 year course or if left in between will pay back money, though it is not followed in practice, but legally if u r leaving normal college, u return stipend then u join iit and again stipend start from zero, in any case you will get 24 months stipend in total

For PhD you ll get stipend again after mtech, there are different set of rules and criterions for that
