I think one should check some past question paper of ISI kolkata there exams are also mathematical oriented and they been known for their Data science curriculum . One of the top institute in India as far as mathematics is concern

I think iits or nta or any competetive exam conducting body must release detailed syllabus with every detailed topics from a to z in depth syllabus instead just making 1 or 2 page pdf.
This man is trying people give up. Iit me koi bhi brunch agar lelo wahape al mal ka kam hote hai. Wo sikh na hi hota hai. Kyun ki time hi aisa hai. Agar hum ei na sikhenge to puri duniya nikal jayegi age, aur hum chuste reh jayenge ungli.

Thats what exactly i wanted to say..... We mostly work on tools in any industry we don't concentrate on mathematics like linear algebra partial derivative even in mtech they dont teach us in depth ye da ko include krna gate me bahut bewaqoofi wala kaam h mere ko jabardasti thopne wala chij lg rha

let me put my onest review on GATE DA , i am preparing Gate DA from last 3 months and as amit sir said the syllabus is not that simple as it written . it tooks me 1 month to complete Linear Aljebra and one 1 months for calculus . complition i mean understanding the concepts , making Notes and solving some questions on it . not the Complete PYQ on each subject . i have not even touch propability . the syllabus for propability is very warst . those who wanna pursue gate da , person needs to have proper mathamatical understanding . but these syllabus seems to be very practical and very useful to become master in data science .

yes topic wise its true but analyse topics properly , linear aljbra and cal and prob consider as seaprate subject so you can except more detail questions .

You can go for MCA. Try to get a seat in NIT by preparing for NIMCET. You can work on AI or ML skills for 2 years or maybe go for development jobs after MCA. As you are BSC CS student, I would suggest you to take MCA, but please work hard and try to get into NIT to do MCA or at least top Universities in your state.
