Great video! Thanks for the dining room and waiter comments! We sailed on the Dream the same week you guys did. And I have to say we ate in the dining room every night too, we sat at the same table and had the same waiters every night as well. The food was so good, the wine we chose was great. And the Breeze! Can't wait to go on the Breeze again. I have never been to Progresso, but we have planned for it to be our next cruise hopefully.
I did the Breeze in December 2021 and loved it. It was still fairly empty, as Carnival was still keeping it well under capacity at that point. But I checked in for Any Time Dining at 5:45 every night and had the same table and same wait staff each night. By day 3 the head waiter was bringing me a can of Mountain Dew when he came to take my order. I always do Specialty Dining on night one to avoid potential chaos in the MDR, but every other night I love Any-Time Dining as soon as the MDR opens.
Love that you had almost the whole fam with you. I hope that one day we will be able to do the same. Still have to talk some of them into their first cruise. Our kids are BBKKMM 😊

My very first cruise was the Carnival Fascination for my parents 50th wedding Anniversary Mom and Dad Brother and 2 sisters, back then we only had a cameras to take pics with. I have a picture of brother in the main dining room acting like a kid and pretending like he was going to throw some mashed potatoes with his spoon lol Mom and Brother have passed on Dad is 96 so many great memories!!!!
Doing this same cruise in May 2024 on the Breeze. The last time we were in Progresso was 14 years ago. We have been back a couple times but just stayed on the ship. This year we are going to check it out and booked an excursion. Thanks for the great video!

We took our family on the Carnival Breeze in 2019 and everyone loved it. We cruised last September on its sister ship Magic and both are our favorites. Food on both ships were great. So glad you were able to have a wonderful family cruise.❤️
Glad you pointed out that if you do anytime dining and enjoy the wait staff, they will hold the table if you go at the same time. We've found if you enjoy them and request the same staff, they will do their best to accommodate that also.

Love love love this I have been watching your guys videos about cruises for about a yr now because I wanted to learn more about them because I went on my first cruise back in the end of January with my mom and sister and your videos helped me a lot! We went on the Breeze to Cozumel and Progresso and it was amazing! I enjoyed it so much that I have talked my husband into going on one and he said he would never go but he is willing to give it a shot! I do have a question though I heard that if I book a cruise with a VIFP number that I might get a discount or something on my next cruise is that true? We're going to Paradise Beach in just over a week! Do we need water shoes? Some people recommend them because they say there are lots of rocks in the water.

We just got back from Cozumel on the Carnival Conquest. Unfortunately, we were not impressed with the food at all. It was nothing like pre-COVID on the Liberty. I'm seriously considering moving away from Carnival and going to another cruise line.

Kinda lame I think especially when this video has a long sponsored segment in it. EECC vlogs have really dropped off in recent years in my opinion. Their playlists used to be double digit videos long and nowadays many don't even break the five video total.
The food was horrible on celebration in January to the point folks who’ve done 20+ cruises with carnival said they are done. I told the NCL is our goto for food and entertainment
I’m platinum on carnival and find the food was almost inedible in December on the Mardi Gras and it was inedible on my valor cruise in January. February’s cruise was NCL, the breakaway food was amazing
We have… this is just the first cruise with them as adults. We have taken our kids since they were little but our family has grown a lot with every one with a partner now and grandkids.
I think Jason and Alesa are respecting the wishes of their family members. They might not want to be introduced and only agreed to limited camera time. The other people were their daughter Emily, her husband, and their daughters. Then Cameron, Colby, and their partners. I gathered that info by watching their other videos. .

There wasn’t much in Progresso last time I was there but a hut on the beach with ice chests full of beer and a few shops.
The Breeze was our first cruise and I loved it! What a great trip.

We didn’t stay in Galveston as it is a short drive for us. We traveled on Monday and traffic was ok as they celebrated over the weekend.

You can buy drinks on the first day, you just can’t have a drink package until day 2.

The school age girls are oldest daughter Emily’s 9 year old daughter, Sophia and 6 year old daughter Maddie

I would have said the same based in our last experience 10 years ago. But we really enjoyed it this time.
